DESIGN FOR SKIRT-BINDING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,556, dated October 25, 1898.
Application filed September 26, 1898. Serial No- 69l,941- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HARRY FEDER, a citizen. of the United States, and a resident of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Skirt-Binding, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings, forming a part thereof.
The leading features of my design consist in a skirthinding presenting in side elevation when looked at from one side a plain head portion and a brush-like edge along the edge of the plain head portion, and when viewed in side elevation from the opposite side presenting a plain head portion, a brushlike edge, and a mottled band intermediate of the plain head portion and brush-like edge. When viewed in section, the binding presents a thin head portion, a brush-like edge, and a. mottled band ofiset from one side of the thin head portion.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 118 a View of the binding in side elevation. Fig. 2 is a similar view from the opposite side, and Fig. 3 is a View in transverse section.
A represents the plain head portion; 1 the bruslrlike edge, and C the mottled band intermediate of the plain head portion and brush-like edge on one side of the binding.
What I claim is The design for a skirt-binding, substantially as herein shown and described.
