A BIAS-STICK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,924, dated November 30, 1897.
Application filed September 2, 1897- Serial No. 650,404. Term of patent 14 years.
1'0 all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, PORTEUS S. KEPLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ashtabula, in the county of Ashtabula and State of Ohio, have invented a new and original Design for a Bias-Stick for Marking, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a bias-stick for marking; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a pair of equal-length straight fiat strips joined together at one end and arranged at right angles to each other and a straight flat hypotenuse strip lying across the angle between the right-angularly-disposed strips and connecting the extremities of the latter, said hypotepuse strip having a straight continuation or extension projecting beyond one of.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bias-stick embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof.
Referring to the drawings, the numerals l and Jdesignateapairof equal-length straight flat strips arranged at right angles to each other and joined together atone end, the other ends or extremities of said strips being connected by a straight fiat hypotenuse strip 3. The hypotenuse strip 3 lies across the angle between the strips 1 and 2 and is provided with a straight continuation or extension 4, which projects beyond the strip designated by the numeral 1 and is disposed at an obtuse angle to such strip.
What I claim is- The design for a bias-stick herein shown and described.
