SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,709,'da.ted February 11, I902.
Application filed December 28, 1901- Serial No. 87,625- Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, JOHN S. BUSKY, aciti zen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State ofNew York, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Shoe-Shank, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in Which- Figure l is a plan view of a shoe-shank, showing my design. Fig. 2 is an edge view thereof, and Fig. 3 is an end view.
The leading feature of my design for a shoeshank consists in providing it with transversely-disposed ribs or corrugations.
Referring particularly to the drawings, the
shank has inwardly-curved side edges and ends, and it is transversely arched and pro- 20 vided with a central longitudinal rib, from which ribs or corrugations extend outward to the side edges and at a slight angle.
