lie it known that I, ANNA K. MAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Carpet or other Fabric, of which the following is a specification, reference being had more particularly to the accompanying drawing, illustrating the same and forming part hereof.

The leading feature of my design comprises a Morris pattern of conventionalized lowers well covering the ground.

The design of my invention will be best understood by referen cc to the accompanying b the border,

drawing, and it may be expressed in dillerent colors or combinations of colors and applied to velvet, \Yilton, Brussels, ingrain, and other carpets.

\Vhat I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
