DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE- FRAME SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,590, dated February 2, 1897.
Application filed January 6, 1897. Serial No 618,207 Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that 1, CHARLES R. HARRIS, a citizen of the United States, residing at Villianisport, in the county of Lyeoming and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bicycle-Fraines,of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the acoompafinally upwardly and joined to the frame.
frame is bent gradually downward and then npwardlyin a general eurved direction until it reaches its highest point at a position above the wheel, as at b. Then the frame is bent downwardly in front of the rear wheel and In. addition to the main portion thus described a longitudinal bar of tubing; 0 extends from the steering-head rearward to a point where it is joined to the main frame, as at d, and from this point the bar is bent upward, forming a socket for the seat-post.
The rear of the main frame is' divided to straddle the rear wheel, as shown, and the tubing constituting this divided portion merges into a single bar forward, and in the space formed between the convergingportion of the frame the d rive-shaft and sprocket-wheel are jonrnaled.
