DESIGN FOR A BlCYCLE-FRAME.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,767, dated October 19, 1897.

Application filed August 4, 1897 Serial No. 647,128. Term of patent 14 years.

To (all whom it may concern;

Be it known that I, ARTHUR H. ANDREWS, a. citizen of the United States, residing at \Villianisport,in the conntyof Lycoming and State of Pennsylvania, have in vented and produced a new and original Design forBieyele-Fraines, of which the following is a specification, referenee being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

The figure of drawing represents my bicycle-frame in side elevation.

As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the bowed section A at the rear of the straight seatpost B. This curved section A is in the arc of a circle, except the portion D, adjacent to its point of attachment to the shaft-hanger C, which is practically straight. This part A is attached at its end a to the seat-post B, near the top thereof, while the other end 1) of said part A joins the shaft-hanger C. Extending from the post B to the part D of section A is the brace E, and projecting upwardly from the lower portion of section A are the bearings F.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a bicycle-frame, as herein shown and described.
