DESIGN FOR A BASE FOR LAMPS.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,418 dated July 3, 1894.

Application filed June 7, 1894. Serial No.513,827- Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, LOTHAR Von GRAVE, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing at Wallingford, New Haven county, in the State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Base for Lamps, &c., of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompan yin g drawing, forming part of the same, and wherein the figure shows a perspective View of a lamp base embodying my design.

The essential features of my design consist in a series of ornamental bars projecting from the upper ornamental portion of the base and connecting with scroll-like portions which constitute the feet and on which are allegorical figures.
