SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,059, dated December 20, 1892.
Application tiled October 19, 1892. Serial No. 449.402. Term of patent 7 years.

le. it known that i, GEonnE U. RoULET, a citizen of the United States, residing at. To lede, county1 of Lncns, and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Spoons End Lil-Ic Articles, of which the following is n specification, reference being had to the accompanying drnwing, showirrer n part thereof.
The lending fcntnre of my design consists in the handle formed in the representation of a chimney, surinounted by Santa Claus carrying n pack, and another feature of my design consists in the bowl ornnmented with n representation of the birth of Christ in n stable.

l indicates the bowl of the spoon, and 2, the handle ot' the saine. This handle is produced in the representation of a chimney, and is surmounted by the representation of Santa Claus carrying his pack of toys. Near the top of the handle is produced the representation of a snow bird and a hunch of holly, and at the bottom of handle is also produced n representation of holly leaves and berries. The bowl 1, is ornalnented by a representation of the birth of Christ in n stable, the Child Jesus being shown upon llis cradle with the Virgin Mary close by, while the attending shepherds are grouped aboutthemothcr and child. A representation of the Star of Bethlehem shedding its rays upon the Child Jesus is also produced upon the bowl.

The design for a spoon, substantially as herein shown and described.
