DESIGN FOR A sPooN-CUP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,972, dated April 2'?, 189'?.
Application filed March 12, 1897. Serial No. 627,253. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, JOSEPH T. HOMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Spoon-Cup; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and eXact description of the same, referenee being had to the accompanying drawings, Which form a part of this specification.
My invention comprises a desi gn for a spooncup to be used by the Catholic clergy in visiting the sick, the special features of said design being shown in the annexed drawings, wherein- Figure 1 is a plan of said spoon-cup, and Fig` 2 is a Vertical section of the same.
The bottom A of this spoon-cup is iiat and oval-shaped, and from this bottom the sides of the vessel flare upwardly and outwardly, as at B, the front end of said vessel bein` formed into a spout C, that facilitates pouring. Projecting from the rear end of this spooncup is a curved handle D, the upper surface of Which has a marginal bead or molding E, inc-losing a cross F, surrounded by wreaths of Wheat G and grape-vines H. I is a ribbon or bow uniting the stems of these wreaths.
I claim as my invention- The design for a spo D11-cup, as herein shown and described. l
