DESIGN FOR A TOASTER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,144, dated October 1, 1901.

Be it known that I, HILMA S. SwANsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kansas City, in the county of Jackson and State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Toasters, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a design for toasters; and my object is to produce a new and original design for the same which is both ornamental and useful.
In the accompanying drawings, which illus trate the design, Figure 1 represents a plan view of a toaster embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a vertical longitudinal sectional View of the same, taken on line II II of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a circular pan 1, having a peripheral annular groove 2, terminating in a flange 3 at its outer side and a horizontal plane 4. at its in ner side.
5 designates a slotted handle which eitends from one side of the pan.
6 designates a wire mat which rests upon the convex side of the annular groove, and 7 designates the prongs extending from the lllIl of the mat down through perforations S in the pan.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Pat cut, is a The design for a toaster, substantially as herein shown and described.
