DESIGN FOR A BRUSH-HOOK.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 20,684, dated April 21, 1891.
Application filed March 10, 1891. Serial No. 384,497. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concer/1,:
Be it known that I, JUDSON (l. COFMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Prairie, in the county of Skagit and State of Washington, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Brushllook, of which the following is a specification, referenee being had to the accompanying drawing, in which the figure represents in perspective a brush-hook embodying my invention.
The design consists in the een figuration of the blade.
The letter o indicates the eye of the blade, a. the line of the cutting-edge, and cl2 o? the lines of the baek edge of the blade. The blade forward of the eye tapers longitudinally and transversely to the extreme outer point a, and the longitudinal lines range diagonally to the eye a.. The exterior surface of the blade at the eye is rounded transversely, as at al. The line d of the cutting-edge eX- tends in a straight direction from its heel to the extreme point a, and the lines d2 a? of the back edge incline slightly toward the line d' of the opposite or cutting edge and are curved inwardly, as at d5, to a meeting with the line a. at the point e.
