SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 17,993, dated December 27, 1887.
Application filed September 26, 1587.
To all whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, FREDERICK S. PINKUs, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fabrics; and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description ofthe same.
My invention is a new design for tablecloths and other ornamental fabrics.
The Inain features of the design consist of ornamental figures of solid color on a background striped with fine lines of different col ors.
In the accompanying drawing the iigure shows a portion of a table-cloth ornaniented according to my invention.
In the drawing the body or ground ofthe design is formed of tine lines a b, of different colors and alternating. The ornament-a1 iig- Serial No. 250JS6.

ures consist of a border, A, of leaves, a fretted line, B, parallel thereto and within the line A, and still further within a line of leafed branches, C.
The gures A, B, and C are all of solid color 25 on the striped background.
I claimA A design for table cloths and the like, consisting of a finely-striped background and ornaniental figures on said background coinpris- 3o ing a fretted border, B, and an inner and outer ornamental line, substantially as described and shown.
