Be it known that I, ARCHIBALD F. REDDIE, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia,in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Carpet or other Fabric, of which the following, taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, is a specificationi The design illustrated in the accompanying drawing may he Wrought in or applied to Brussels, \Vilton, velvet, or other carpet, and in such colors or combinations of colors as may be desired.
In the drawing, a is the body, I; the border, and a b the carpet, and the drawing clearly shows the peculiar characteristic or distinctive appearance which when imparted to the carpet or other fabric constitutes myinvention.
