To (all whom, it "my concern:
Be it known that I, G150. F. GMiNDnu, of
New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a certain new and useful Design for 'l rimmings; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form part of this specification, in which the single figure represents a front View of my it newly-designed fringe or trimming.
A designates the heading of thei'ringe, which is provided with pendants B and C. These pendants are arranged symmetrically, as shown, one of the pendants,B,alternating with every pair of the pendants O. The pendants C are of the construction known as figured chenille, and the figures may be of either diamond, ball, or any other suitable shape. In the drawing the ball-shaped figures, which make an effective pattern. The intermediate pendants, B,
hereto annexed I have shown Application filed December 29, IFRII. Term of patent 3* years.
are constructed with laterally-prejecting ehenille figures I), which maybe of ball, diamend, or other suitable shape. I prefer to make them of a shape corresponding to that l of the figures uponthc pendants C; hencethey havein the drawing been shown as ball-shaped. These laterally-projecting figures will natui rally depend and form an attractive pattern z when combined with the pendants which they partly cover.
, The design for chenille fr1nge,wh1ch consists 5 of figured pendants arranged in pairs, alternating with single pendants having laterallyl projecting figures or ornaments, as set forth.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my own I my signature in presence of two witnesses.
