Among the objects of my invention are to provide an underwear garment in one piece which employs a form-fitting short having a closable opening and a cutaway top integral with said 5 short; to provide a combination top and short underwear garment in which the short acts as a supporter for a masculine wearer; to supply a top and short underwear garment wherein the top has an abbreviated and cutaway front and 10 back portion so as to give greater comfort and freedom to a wearer; to create a combination top and short underwear garment wherein the short is form-fitting and yet has a portion thereof which may be opened or closed by means of a 15 zipper, button or the like, and such other objects, advantages and capabilities as will later more fully appear and which are inherently possessed by my invention.

While I have shown in the accompanying draw- 20 ing a preferred form of my invention yet I wish it understood that the same is susceptible of modication and change without departing from the spirit of my invention.

Referring more particularly to the drawing,

The embodiment selected to illustrate my invention comprises a short I cut to be form-f1tting to the body and legs of a wearer. The short I0 has cutout portions Il and I2 through which 35 are passed the legs of a wearer. The front portion I3 is connected to the back portion I 4 at the crotch I by a connecting portion I6 which acts as a supporter for a masculine wearer. Integral with short Ill is top Il having front por- 40 tion I8 and back portion I 9 which are preferably identical. My top portion II begins at the belt 20 or top portion of the short II] and the lines of my top from both sides of the hips of the wearer move inward and upward until they almost meet 45 at the abbreviated top 2| which just about reaches the chest and middle back of the wearer. Connecting the top portions 2l are a pair of shoulder straps 22 and 23 which pass over either shoulder of a wearer.

My short lll has a. slit 24, preferably located on the right side of said short, vwhich slit may be opened or closed by the action of a zipper 25.

As a variation of my preferred embodiment the slit 24 may be closed by a plurality of buttons or the like, 26.

In use my underwear garment is form-fitting and allows great freedom by the elimination of 5 the unnecessary part of the top to a wearer. In addition my combination saves the necessity of a separate top and short and the need of a separate supporter. The slit in my short, which may be instantaneously opened or closed, readily gives freedom to the wearer Where the exposure of certain parts is necessary.

Having thus described my invention, I claim:

1. A combination unitary undergarment and supporter for men comprising a form fitting short having a pair of leg receiving portions connected by a permanently closed crotch portion, said crotch portion adapted to act as a supporter for a masculine wearer, said short having an opening and a fastening means for closing and exposing said opening, a belt integrally surrounding the top portion of said short, and a top integrally attached to the top of said belt, said top having identically shaped front and back portions, said portions of said top both curving upwardly and 25 inwardly from both sides at the belt until they approximately meet at the middle chest and middle back of a wearer, so as to expose substantially all of the sides and the upperportions of the chest and back of a wearer, and a long pair of shoulder straps attached to and connecting the highest point of each of the back and front portions of said top.

2. A combination unitary undergarment and supporter for men comprising a form fitting short having a pair of leg receiving portions connected by a crotch portion, said crotch portion adapted to act as a supporter for a masculine wearer, said short having an opening and a fastening means for closing and exposing said opening, and a top integrally attached to the top of said short, said top having identically shaped front and back portions, said portions of said top both curving upwardly and inwardly from both sides from the bottom thereof until they approximately meet at the middle chest and middle back of the wearer, so as to expose substantially all of the sides and the upper portions of the chest and back of a wearer, and a long pair of shoulder straps attached to and connecting the highest point of each of the back and front portions of said top.
