Abstract

Устройство и способ расширения табака используется при изготовлении сигарет. Устройство имеет по существу З-образный канал, по которому перемещается распределенный в потоке горячего газа табачный материал и в котором происходит сублимация твердой двуокиси углерода и расширение табака. Канал имеет некруглое, преимущественно прямоугольное, поперечное сечение с большим соотношением ширины к глубине, и его глубина сначала постепенно увеличивается от входного участка до промежуточного участка, а после этого постепенно уменьшается от промежуточного участка до выходного участка. На входе в канал установлена трубка Вентури, возле горловины которой размещено выполненное в виде веялки устройство для подачи в канал табачного материала. Для отделения расширенного табака от газов используется тангенциальный сепаратор с поворотной заслонкой на входе, позволяющей регулировать скорость потока в середине сепаратора.
