Abstract

本發明係提供一種高強度扳手,包含有:一頭部、一桿身及一握柄;該桿身之長度為該握柄之長度的複數倍;至少一凹槽,沿該桿身之縱向,設於該桿身之周面,該桿身之斷面形狀係呈外側之厚度較厚而內部之厚度較薄之構形。藉此,該桿身係具有較佳之結構強度,使該扳手可承受高扭力之操作。

Description

高強度扳手
本發明係與扳手有關,詳而言之,係指一種具有較高結構強度之扳手。
圖一顯示一種習知的棘輪扳手10,其具有相連接之一頭部12、一桿身14及一握把16,該頭部設有一棘輪機構。使用時以該頭部結合螺帽、螺栓或套筒,操作者係握住該握柄並扳轉該扳手10即可轉動螺帽、螺栓或套筒。
上揭習知扳手10之桿身14與握把16之長度大約相同,且桿身14與握柄16所形成之力臂並不長,因此,操作該扳手所產生之扭力(torque)並不大,只能提供小扭力,故該扳手10只適用於轉動小尺寸的螺接元件(螺帽或螺栓),並不適合轉動大尺寸之螺接元件,且習知扳手之桿身14並無任何增加強度之設計,使得扳手之結構強度不佳,無法承受高扭力之操作。為解決習知扳手之缺失,發明人係戳力研究,進而研發出本發明。
本發明之目的在於提供一種扳手,使該扳手具有優異的結構強度,得以承受高扭力之操作。
本發明所提供之一種高強度扳手,包含有: 一頭部、一桿身及一握柄,該頭部及該握柄係分別連接於該桿身之前端及後端; 該桿身之長度為該握柄之長度的複數倍; 至少一凹槽,沿該桿身之縱向,設於該桿身之周面,該桿身之斷面形狀係呈外側之厚度較厚而內部之厚度較薄之構形。 藉此,該桿身係具有較佳之結構強度,使該扳手可承受高扭力之操作。
較佳地,所述之凹槽之斷面係呈圓弧形,以避免凹槽之壁面有尖角及應力集中之情形。
請參閱圖二及圖三,係本發明第一較佳實施例所提供之扳手20,係由金屬材質製成,包含有:一頭部30、一桿身40及一握柄50,該頭部30後端係設於該桿身40前端,而該握柄50設於該桿身40後端。該桿身40及該握柄50於本較佳實施例係以一體製成之方式連接,亦可分別製成後再相互連接;該頭部30與該桿身40可如本較佳實施例所示一體製成,或如圖六之扳手20’所示,其頭部30’後端與桿身40’前端係以一樞軸41樞接,使得該頭部30’可相對於該桿身40’轉動。
一驅動構件32,設於該頭部30中,用以結合並驅轉螺帽或螺栓等螺接元件或套筒。該驅動構件32可為一插柱或一多角形套孔或其他形式。驅動機構於本實施例為一棘輪構件,具有一棘輪33,如圖四所示,該棘輪33並設有一且具有一插柱34,用以與套筒結合。一換向鈕35,設於該頭部,可控制該棘輪33之轉向。驅動構件32非本發明之主要創作標的,容不贅述。該驅動構件具有一個中心C,於本實施例,驅動構件32之中心C係位於該插柱34中央。
該桿身40可為實心或空心之結構,並具有相當的長度,其長度為握柄50之長度的複數倍。請參閱圖五,該桿身40係為圓形的斷面;一或一個以上的凹槽42,沿該桿身40之縱向,設於該桿身之周面,本實施例具有二凹槽42,分別凹設於該桿身之周面的頂緣與底緣,凹槽42之長度僅略短於桿身40之長度。請參閱圖五所示,藉由該二凹槽42,該桿身40係具有呈H形的幾何斷面形狀,使該桿身之外側之厚度較大、而內部之厚度較薄之構形,此種構形設計,可提高扳手20之桿身40之結構強度及提升桿身之應力。此外,各凹槽42之斷面係呈圓弧形,使凹槽之內壁面沒有尖角,防止應力集中。
該握柄50可為實心或空心之構造,具有圓形之斷面,供操作者握持;一凸環52,其斷面呈圓形,位於該桿身40與握柄50之交接處,該凸環52之外徑大於桿身40之直徑,可提高扳手之結構強度,尤其是增進桿身之強度。
該桿身40之長度為該握柄50之長度的複數倍,請參閱圖四,於本發明之設計中,該桿身之長度係不小於該握柄長度之二倍,實施上,可為三倍或三倍以上,較佳地,桿身40之長度S為握柄50之長度L之3.1倍~3.8倍;該驅動構件32之中心C至該桿身40末端之長度M為握柄50之長度L之三至五倍左右,較佳地,為3.7倍至4.5倍。
圖六係本發明之扳手20’之第二較佳實施例,相同構件以相同的元件符號表示,且構件之結構特徵可參第一較佳實施例之說明,故不再為贅述。
該扳手20’同樣具有相連接之一頭部30’、一桿身40’與一握柄50,其中,該頭部30’後端之樞接部36係與該桿身40’前端之樞接部46相樞接;該桿身40’及握柄50可為實心或空心之結構;二凹槽42,沿桿身之縱向設於該桿身之周面的頂緣與底緣。一驅動構件32’,設於該頭部30’中,該驅動構件32’於本實施例亦為一棘輪構件,具有一棘輪33’,該棘輪33’設有一多角形之套孔38,用以套接並驅轉螺接元件或套筒;一換向推桿39,穿設於該頭部中,可控制該棘輪33’之轉向。該驅動構件32’亦具有一個中心C,於本實施例,驅動構件32’之中心C係位於該套孔38中央。同樣的,該桿身40’之長度係不小於該握柄50長度之三倍,較佳地,桿身40’之長度為握柄50長度之3.1倍~3.8倍;該驅動構件32’之中心C至該桿身40’末端之長度為握柄長度之四倍左右,較佳地,為3.7倍至4.5倍。
本發明之該驅動構件32(32’)之中心C至該桿身40(40’)末端之長度M及該握柄50之長度L係為該扳手轉動螺接元件或套筒之操作力臂(即M+L)。本發明之扳手20之桿身40之長度為圖一所示之習知扳手10之桿身的三倍長度以上,因此,其操作力臂(M+L)係遠長於習知扳手10之力臂,由於本發明之操作力臂長,可形成高扭力來扳轉螺接元件,其扭力係高於習知扳手之數倍。
該扳手20之結構設計可承受高扭力之操作,包括:該二凹槽42之設置使桿身之斷面呈特定的幾何形狀,使該桿身40雖然長度長,仍能承受高扭力之負荷而不會彎曲或破壞。而凹槽42之斷面採圓弧形設計,使凹槽之內壁面沒有尖角,防止應力集中,降低扳手之桿身斷裂及破壞之情形。再者,該二凹槽可減輕扳手的重量,使操作更為省力。
前揭諸實施例僅係說明本發明之技術特徵而非限制,舉凡與本發明等效之結構設計,均應屬本發明所涵蓋之範圍。本發明所提供之扳手為本技術領域所首創之構造,並具進步性功效,誠合於專利要件。

Claims (5)

  1. 一種高強度扳手,包含有:一頭部、一桿身及一握柄,該頭部係連接於該桿身之前端;該握柄設於該桿身之後端,該桿身及該握柄係由一體製成之方式連接;一驅動構件,設於該頭部中;該桿身之長度為該握柄之長度的複數倍;二凹槽,沿該桿身之縱向,設於該桿身之周面,分別凹設於該桿身之周面的頂緣與底緣,該桿身之斷面形狀係呈外側之厚度較厚而內部之厚度較薄之構形,所述之凹槽之長度僅略短於桿身之長度;一凸環,設於該桿身與該握柄之交接處,該凸環之外徑係大於該桿身之外徑,該凸環、該桿身及該握柄之斷面係呈圓形。
  2. 如請求項1所述之扳手,其中:該桿身之長度係該握柄之長度之二倍或二倍以上。
  3. 如請求項1所述之扳手,其中:所述之凹槽之斷面係呈圓弧形。
  4. 如請求項1所述之扳手,其中:該驅動構件具有一個中心,該驅動構件之中心至該桿身末端之長度為該握柄之長度的3~5倍。
  5. 如請求項1所述之扳手,其中:該桿身為實心或空心之結構。
