Description

接合式鍵盤、計算裝置及裝配鍵盤之方法
所揭示之實施例大體上係關於電子裝置,且更特定而言,係關於用於電子裝置之輸入裝置。
本申請案主張2011年12月21日申請之美國臨時申請案第61/578,687號的權利,該申請案之全文以引用的方式併入本文中。
許多電子裝置通常包括諸如鍵盤、觸控板、滑鼠或觸控螢幕之一或多個輸入裝置以使一使用者能夠與該裝置互動。此等裝置可整合至電子裝置中或可獨立地作為可經由有線或無線連接將信號傳輸至另一裝置的離散裝置。舉例而言,鍵盤可整合至膝上型電腦之外殼中或鍵盤可存在於其自身之外殼中。
常常需要減小電子裝置之大小且最小化此等裝置之加工成本及製造時間。舉例而言,膝上型電腦可經設計為儘可能小而輕,但諸如鍵盤之輸入裝置可佔據可用內部空間之相對大部分。因此,需要改良之鍵盤設計。
揭示一種接合式鍵盤及其製造方法。該接合式鍵盤使用黏著劑作為主要試劑,且在一些實施例中,作為用於將鍵盤層疊之各種組件耦接在一起的唯一試劑。該鍵盤層疊使用一骨架黏著劑將一頂殼耦接至一背殼總成。在一實施例中,該骨架黏著劑為經設定尺寸以適配於在鄰近鍵之間存 在的間隔內之肋狀物的一互連矩陣,該等鍵安裝於該背殼總成上。該骨架黏著劑固定至該背殼總成,佔據存在於鍵之間的該間隔的一部分,且該頂殼固定至該骨架黏著劑之頂部。
在一實施例中,一種接合式鍵盤可包括:一背殼總成;及若干個鍵,其安裝於該背殼總成上且以一預定組態配置,使得間隔存在於鄰近鍵之間。該等鍵可包括界定一周邊之外部鍵。該背殼總成可包括一特徵板、一黏著劑層及一膜,該膜藉由該黏著劑層而接合至該特徵板。該鍵盤亦包括:一骨架雙面黏著劑層,其緊固至該背殼總成且經建構以佔據該間隔之一部分及該周邊之一部分;及一頂殼,其緊固至該骨架雙面黏著劑。

在另一實施例中,一種用於裝配一鍵盤之方法包括:將複數個鍵安裝至一背殼總成;將一骨架雙面黏著劑層塗覆至該背殼總成,該骨架黏著劑層圍繞該等鍵中之至少一者;及經由該骨架黏著劑將一頂殼緊固至該背殼總成,該頂殼經建構以近似於該骨架黏著劑層之建構。
在考慮結合隨附圖式來理解之以下詳細描述後,本發明之以上及其他態樣與優點便將變得更加顯而易見,其中相似之參考字元始終指代相似之部分。
圖1展示根據一實施例之接合式鍵盤100的說明性分解圖。鍵盤100為連接在一起之若干個組件的層疊(展示為層疊102)。層疊102可包括特徵板110、黏著劑層120、膜130、鍵140、骨架雙面黏著劑層150,及頂殼160。每一組件之說明性俯視圖展示於圖2至圖6中。在裝配鍵盤100時,特徵板110可形成層疊之底部,頂殼160形成層疊之頂部且其他組件夾於特徵板110與頂殼160之間。在其他實施例中,背光(未圖示)可形成層疊之底部,此係因為其可安裝於特徵板110下方。在又一實施例中,背光可定位於特徵板110與膜130之間。在另一實施例中,背光可與特徵板110整合。
鍵盤100之組件可主要或完全藉由接合(使用最少扣件或不使用扣件)而固持在一起。藉由黏著劑層120及150達成接合。扣件(圖1至圖6中未展示)藉由將特徵板110耦接至頂殼160來輔助將鍵盤100固持在一起。圖2至圖6展示扣件通孔170,經由該等扣件通孔170來插入扣件。以下參看圖10更詳細論述扣件。
黏著劑層120將特徵板110接合至膜130之底表面,且黏著劑層150將頂殼160接合至膜130之頂表面。鍵140中之每一者具有將其緊固至膜130及/或特徵板110之機構(未圖 示)。使用黏著劑層120及150作為主要接合劑會簡化層疊之建構、減小成本、減小鍵盤之厚度、最小化或完全消除對扣件之使用且增強防水性。藉由接合式鍵盤實現之額外益處為與用大量扣件建置之同時期鍵盤相比較減少了振動。
現轉向圖2至圖6,更詳細地論述層疊102之每一組件。圖2展示特徵板110之簡化俯視圖。特徵板110可形成堆疊102之底部,且被可操作地連接至鍵140。舉例而言,特徵板110可包括用於傳導電信號之接點(未圖示)。作為另一實例,特徵板110可包括用於緊固鍵140之錨定點(未圖示)。特徵板110可視情況包括扣件通孔170,如所展示。通孔170可定位於特徵板110之周邊上及特徵板110之內部部分的少數位置中。位於內部部分中之通孔170之數目非常有限。此情形與具有分散在整個內部部分上之大量此等通孔的同時期鍵盤形成鮮明對比。
圖3展示黏著劑層120之簡化說明性俯視圖。黏著劑層120可為任何合適的雙面黏著劑。舉例而言,黏著劑120可為壓敏性黏著劑或熱活化黏著劑。在一實施例中,黏著劑120可具有在兩面上貼附有黏著劑之PET基板。黏著劑120之厚度範圍可在0.02mm至0.1mm之間,或更特定而言,在0.03mm至0.05mm之間。黏著劑層120可視情況包括扣件通孔170。通孔之位置可與特徵板110之通孔170對準。
圖4展示膜130之簡化說明性俯視圖。膜130可為包括用於偵測鍵140中之任一者是否已由使用者選擇之一或多個 感測器(未圖示)的感測膜。該等感測器可由(例如)氧化銦錫(ITO)製成。膜130可視情況包括扣件通孔170。通孔之位置可與特徵板110及黏著劑層120之通孔170對準。
特徵板110、黏著劑層120及膜130之集體性組合可在本文中被稱為背殼總成。背殼總成可為在鍵盤100之最終裝配之前製成的子總成。
參看圖1,鍵140可為用於鍵盤中之任何合適鍵。鍵可(例如)使用將鍵帽耦接至膜130及/或特徵板110之剪式(scissor-based)支撐機構。鍵可以形成周邊之外部鍵141及存在於周邊內之內部鍵142的預定組態來配置。間隔存在於所有鍵之間。
圖5展示骨架雙面黏著劑層150之簡化俯視圖。骨架雙面黏著劑層150可為任何合適的雙面黏著劑,諸如壓敏性黏著劑或熱活化黏著劑。在其他實施例中,骨架雙面黏著劑層150可經網版印刷或移印,且可使用濕式或UV固化。在一實施例中,黏著劑150可具有在兩面上貼附有黏著劑之PET基板。黏著劑150之厚度範圍可在0.005mm至0.1mm之間,或更特定而言,在0.03mm至0.05mm之間。骨架雙面黏著劑層150可視情況包括扣件通孔170。通孔之位置可與特徵板110、黏著劑層120及膜130之通孔170對準。
在一實施例(如所展示)中,骨架雙面黏著劑層150之骨架組態(即,一系列互連之黏著劑層骨架肋狀物154)經設計以圍繞鍵140中之每一者。亦即,骨架雙面黏著劑層150經設定尺寸以適配至存在於每一鍵之間的間隔中。黏著劑層 骨架肋狀物154之厚度可為均勻的或可變化。舉例而言,鄰近鍵140之間(諸如,區域151與152之間)的骨架雙面黏著劑層150之厚度可為第一預定厚度(T1),且骨架雙面黏著劑層150之周邊(諸如,在區域151之外的區域)的厚度可為第二預定厚度(T2),其中第一預定厚度(T1)大於第二預定厚度(T2)。
在另一實施例(未圖示)中,骨架雙面黏著劑層150之骨架組態可經設計以選擇性地圍繞鍵。舉例而言,與個別地圍繞每一鍵相對比,層150可圍繞兩個或兩個以上鍵之群組。作為一特定實例,若圍繞兩個鍵,則該等鄰近鍵之間將不存在黏著劑層骨架肋狀物154。
圖6展示頂殼160之說明性俯視圖。頂殼160可為諸如膝上型電腦之電子裝置的部分,或其可為諸如有線鍵盤之獨立電子裝置的部分。頂殼160包括經設定尺寸以適配於鍵140之間的間隔內之頂殼骨架肋狀物164。上文結合骨架雙面黏著劑層150所論述之頂殼骨架肋狀物的相同間隔均勻性或變化可適用於頂殼160。頂殼160亦可包括經設定尺寸以圍繞鍵140之外部周邊區域。頂殼160可視情況包括扣件通孔170。通孔之位置可與特徵板110、黏著劑層120、膜130及骨架雙面黏著劑層150之通孔170對準。
黏著劑150及頂殼160兩者具有彼此相似之結構。此情形促進背殼與頂殼160之間的相對強接合,此係因為骨架黏著劑150之形狀最大化背殼與頂殼之間的接合黏著。因此,此情形可消除或實質上減少將扣件用以將鍵盤層疊耦 接在一起的情況。
現參看圖7至圖10,其展示在將各種組件堆疊起來以形成鍵盤100時該等組件之空間關係。圖7展示鍵盤100之包括鍵140之區段的說明性透視圖。圖7亦展示特徵板110、黏著劑層120、膜130及骨架雙面黏著劑層150之層疊。
圖8為沿圖7之線8-8截取之鍵盤100的說明性橫截面圖。此橫截面圖展示間隙810存在於鍵140與頂殼160之邊緣之間。間隙810確保鍵140自由地行進而不受頂殼160干擾。在鍵140之兩側,間隙810可等距或不同。此外,間隙820存在於骨架雙面黏著劑層150與鍵140之邊緣之間。間隙820確保鍵140自由地行進而不會黏接至黏著劑。
頂殼160之頂殼骨架肋狀物861具有寬度WTP(如所展示),且骨架雙面黏著劑層150之黏著劑層骨架肋狀物851具有寬度WA(如所展示)。頂殼骨架肋狀物861之寬度可至少為黏著劑層骨架肋狀物851之相同寬度或更大。此大小設定確保即使在已將頂殼160施加至骨架雙面黏著劑層150之後骨架雙面黏著劑層150仍不可見。此大小設定亦解決製造及裝配公差之差異。如圖8中所展示,頂殼骨架肋狀物861自黏著劑層骨架肋狀物851之兩側外伸。應理解,頂殼骨架肋狀物861無需以此方式自黏著劑層骨架肋狀物851外伸。在另一實施例中,頂殼骨架肋狀物861可自黏著劑層骨架肋狀物851之一側外伸,但黏著劑層骨架肋狀物851及頂殼骨架肋狀物861兩者在另一側實質上對準。
圖9為沿圖7之線8-8截取之替代說明性橫截面圖。在圖9 中,展示扣件910,其藉由穿過特徵板110、黏著劑層120、膜130、黏著劑150及頂殼160而將特徵板110耦接至頂殼160。詳言之,扣件可穿過每一組件之扣件通孔170。扣件910可為用於將物件耦接在一起之任何合適機構。舉例而言,扣件910可為螺桿或銷。

圖12展示用於製造根據一實施例之接合式鍵盤的說明性流程圖。在步驟1210開始,將複數個鍵安裝至背殼總成。舉例而言,該等鍵可為上文結合圖1至圖10所論述之鍵140,且背殼總成可包括特徵板、黏著劑及感測器膜。在步驟1220,可將骨架雙面黏著劑層塗覆至背殼總成。骨架黏著劑層可圍繞鍵中之至少一者。舉例而言,骨架黏著劑 可為展示於圖1、圖5、圖8及圖10中之骨架黏著劑150。在步驟1230,經由骨架黏著劑將頂殼緊固至背殼總成。頂殼經建構以近似於骨架黏著劑層之建構,使得在將頂殼施加至骨架黏著劑之頂部時,形成強黏著接合且黏著劑層完全由頂殼覆蓋。

Claims (18)

  1. 一種接合式鍵盤,其包含:一背殼總成,其包括:一特徵板;一黏著劑層;及一包含一底表面的膜,該底表面藉由該黏著劑層而接合至該特徵板;一鍵群組,其安裝至該背殼總成的該膜的一頂表面上,且以一預定組態配置而在鄰近鍵之間有一間隔,該鍵群組包括:界定一周邊之外部鍵;及定位於該周邊內之內部鍵;一單一骨架雙面黏著劑層,其直接緊固至該背殼總成之該膜的該頂表面,且經建構以藉由被定位在界於鄰近鍵之間的該間隔及被定位在由該等外部鍵界定之該周邊中來圍繞該鍵群組之每一鍵;及一單一頂殼,其經由該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層直接接合至該膜的該頂表面,該頂殼形成該接合式鍵盤的一外部表面;其中在該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層及由該頂殼形成的該接合式鍵盤的該外部表面之間不具有介於中間的額外黏著劑層。
  2. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其中該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層包含複數個互連之黏著劑層骨架肋狀物。
  3. 如請求項2之鍵盤,其中該等黏著劑層骨架肋狀物之一第一部分具有一第一預定厚度,且該等黏著劑層骨架肋狀物之一第二部分具有一第二預定厚度。
  4. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其中該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層圍繞該鍵群組中之每一者。
  5. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其中該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層圍繞該鍵群組之選擇群組。
  6. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其中該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層之一厚度的範圍在約0.005mm至約0.1mm之間。
  7. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其中該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層不干擾該等鍵中之任一者。
  8. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其中該單一頂殼之建構係近似於該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層之建構。
  9. 如請求項1之鍵盤,其進一步包含將該背殼總成之該特徵板耦接至該單一頂殼之至少一扣件。
  10. 如請求項2之鍵盤,其中該單一頂殼包含頂殼骨架肋狀物,其中該等頂殼骨架肋狀物之一寬度相較於該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層之該等黏著劑層骨架肋狀物的一寬度係為相等或較大的其中一者。
  11. 一種計算裝置,其包含:一接合式鍵盤,其包含:一背殼總成,包含:一特徵板;及一具有經由一黏著劑層直接接合至該特徵板的一 膜;一鍵群組,其安裝至該背殼總成之該膜之一頂表面,該鍵群組經配置以使得一間隔存在於鄰近鍵之間;且其中該複數個鍵包含:界定一周邊之外部鍵;及定位於該周邊內之內部鍵;一單一骨架雙面黏著劑層,其直接安裝至該背殼總成之該膜之該頂表面,該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層經建構以圍繞該鍵群組之每一鍵且定位於鄰近鍵之間的該間隔之一部分中;及一單一頂殼,其包括直接緊固至該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層且定位於該背殼總成之該膜上方之一骨架結構,該頂殼形成該接合式鍵盤的一外部表面。
  12. 如請求項11之計算裝置,其中該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層佔據圍繞該等外部鍵之一周邊的一部分。
  13. 如請求項11之計算裝置,其中該鍵群組之每一鍵包含一第一邊緣及一第二邊緣,且一最小間隙距離存在於每一鍵之該第一邊緣及該第二邊緣與該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層之間。
  14. 如請求項11之計算裝置,其中該背殼總成可操作以偵測鍵擊。

  16. 一種用於裝配一鍵盤之方法,該方法包含:使用一黏著劑層將一背殼總成之一膜之一底表面緊固至該背殼總成之一特徵板;將一鍵群組安裝至該背殼總成之該膜之一頂表面上,該鍵群組以一空間介於鄰近鍵之間的樣式配置,且包含:界定一周邊之外部鍵;及定位於該周邊內之內部鍵;將一單一骨架雙面黏著劑層塗覆至該背殼總成之該膜的該頂表面,該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層定位於介於鄰近鍵之間的該空間,且在圍繞該鍵群組的一周邊中;及經由該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層將一單一頂殼緊固至該背殼總成之該膜之該頂表面,該單一頂殼經建構以近似於該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層之建構;其中該頂表面形成該鍵盤的一外部表面。
  17. 如請求項16之方法,其進一步包含:使用至少一扣件將該單一頂殼緊固至該背殼總成之該特徵板。
  18. 如請求項17之方法,進一步包含:形成穿過以下之每一者的一扣件通孔:該特徵板;緊固至該特徵板的該黏著劑層;該膜;及該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層; 將該扣件插入穿過於穿過以下之每一者而形成的該扣件通孔:該特徵板;緊固至該特徵板的該黏著劑層;該膜;及該單一骨架雙面黏著劑層;將該扣件定位以部分地穿過該單一頂殼;及使用該扣件將該特徵板直接耦接至該單一骨架頂殼。
