Description
本發明係關於聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,其在黏合劑組成物的透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性上表現優異,且對聚酯系薄膜之黏著性優之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物及使用其之光學薄膜。
近年來,作為光擴散薄膜、光反射薄膜、偏光薄膜等之各種光學薄膜方面,係使用在基材薄膜上設置光擴散層、褪光層、背面塗佈層、防靜電層等之機能層。基材薄膜方面,則多使用尺寸穩定性或機械性強度等優異的聚酯系薄膜。
構成如此機能層之黏合劑組成物方面,係使用被膜性、耐溶劑性優異的高分子量樹脂,其中多使用由不阻礙光學薄膜機能之透明性優異的高分子量丙烯酸樹脂所成者(參考專利文獻1)。

如此之高分子量黏合劑組成物,確實係透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性優異者,但對於由聚酯系薄膜所成之基材而言,則有黏著性不佳的問題。
因此,使上述的黏合劑組成物中含有對聚酯系薄膜黏著性佳的樹脂,雖可改善對聚酯系薄膜之黏著性,但另一方面,卻發生了阻礙被膜性、耐溶劑性等本來高分子量之丙烯酸樹脂即具有的性能等新的問題。
因此,黏合劑組成物方面,具有優異的透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性,且對聚酯系薄膜具有優異的黏著性等可同時解決上述之問題之黏合劑組成物,備受期待。
本發明者們為解決上述課題而致力於研究的結果發現,係可藉由複數使用特定的樹脂作為黏合劑組成物,而同時解決此等之問題。
具體而言,發明者們發現,在黏合劑組成物方面,由(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂所構成,其中,因(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯而使其優越的透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性被發揮,再藉著含有(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂,可得不損及(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯本來即具有的被膜性或耐溶劑性的性能,且可與聚酯系薄膜具有優異的黏著性的黏合劑組成物。
本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,係根據上述見解所得,此聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,係以含有(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂為其特徵。
本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中,其(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯的重量平均分子量為10萬~60萬。
本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中,該聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中該各組成物的含有比例為:相對於(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯100重量份,(b)丙烯酸多元醇為20~80重量份、(d)聚酯樹脂為2~30重量份。
上述聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中各組成物的含有比例,係指不含溶劑下樹脂固體成分為100重量%時的值。
本發明之光學薄膜,係以於聚酯系薄膜之至少一面上,設置含有本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物之機能層為其特徵。
而且,本發明之光學薄膜,其機能層係選自光擴散層、散亂層、反射層、防反射層、防牛頓環層、防黏連層、防靜電層以及導電層中之1種或2種以上。
根據本發明,於黏合劑組成物中,係藉由含有(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂,其中,因(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯而使其優越的透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性被發揮,再藉由(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂,可不損及(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯本來即具有的被膜性或耐溶劑性的性能,且可提高與聚酯系薄膜之黏著性等以發揮過去所沒有的顯著效果。
此外,根據本發明,於聚酯系薄膜上設置機能層所成的光學薄膜之機能層用黏合劑組成物方面,藉由上述黏合劑組成物,係使聚酯系薄膜與機能層的黏著性佳,兩者間不會發生剝離,且可提供透明性、被膜性優越之光學薄膜。
以下,就本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物的實施型態進行說明。
構成本發明聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物之(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,係指GPC測定之重量平均分子量為5萬以上之聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,而重量平均分子量為10萬~60萬之聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯則更佳。因聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯之重量平均分子量係如上所述之高分子量者,故其作為塗膜時可發揮優異的耐擦傷性,而作為黏合劑組成物,可為被膜性、耐溶劑性之優異者。
聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物方面,若僅只使用如此之(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,確實可發揮其優異的透明性、被膜性及耐溶劑性,然而,對聚酯系薄膜之黏著性並不佳。但藉由使其同時含有(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂,係可於不損及發揮(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯之被膜性或耐溶劑性等性能之下,又可成為與聚酯系薄膜之黏著性優異的黏合劑組成物。
(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,若在不阻礙本發明效果的範圍內,亦可藉著具有以苯乙烯等所代表可行游離基聚合之不飽和雙鍵的單體而變性。
其次,(b)丙烯酸多元醇係顯示與(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯有良好的相溶性,而且,係為與後述的(c)異氰酸系硬化劑發生交聯硬化反應者。其結果係可在塗膜強度不降低的情況之下,提高黏合劑組成物的被膜性、耐溶劑性。又因不阻礙其透明性,故可為透明性優異的黏合劑組成物。
再者,(b)丙烯酸多元醇,若在不阻礙本發明效果的範圍內,亦可與(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯同樣地,即使藉著具有以苯乙烯等所代表可行游離基聚合之不飽和雙鍵的單體而變性也可以。
本發明的聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中之(b)丙烯酸多元醇的含有比例,相對於(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯100重量份,係以(b)丙烯酸多元醇為20~80重量份為佳,而40~70重量份又更佳。當其為20重量份以上,則其與(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯的相溶性佳,並且對聚酯系薄膜的黏著性向上提升。而,當其為80重量份以下,則可避免被膜性或耐溶劑性等之(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯原來即具有的性能低落。
接著,(c)異氰酸系硬化劑,係扮演著與(b)丙烯酸多元醇,及與後述之(d)聚酯樹脂進行交聯、硬化之硬化劑的角色,必須要具備有適度的反應性與NCO基。而且,亦賦予著與聚酯系薄膜的優異的黏著性。
本發明的聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中,(c)異氰酸系硬化劑的含有比例,係以(b)丙烯酸多元醇及(d)聚酯樹脂中的羥基與(c)異氰酸系硬化劑中的NCO基的莫耳比在2:3~3:2之範圍內的程度為佳。當在此範圍下時,(b)丙烯酸多元醇及(d)聚酯樹脂方可與(c)異氰酸系硬化劑進行適當地化學鍵結。
再來,(d)聚酯樹脂係為了改善與聚酯系薄膜之黏著性而使用。此外,係與(c)異氰酸系硬化劑進行交聯、硬化,並可藉此不使塗膜強度降低,提高黏合劑組成物的被膜性、耐溶劑性。所謂的聚酯樹脂,係指多價碳酸與多元醇的聚縮合物,在多價碳酸方面,係可舉出對苯二甲酸、間苯二甲酸、己二酸等,而多元醇方面,則可舉出有乙二醇、丙二醇、新戊二醇等。一般多以使用重量平均分子量為15,000~20,000程度者為佳。
本發明的聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中,(d)聚酯樹脂的含有比例,相對於(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯100重量份,係以(d)聚酯樹脂為2~30重量份為佳,而5~15重量份又更佳。當其為2重量份以上,其對聚酯系薄膜的黏著性可向上提升。而,當其為30重量份以下,則可避免透明性降低,並可充分發揮被膜性或耐溶劑性等之(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯原來即具有的性能。
此外,在不阻礙本發明聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物的效果之範圍內,係可使其含有飽和聚酯、氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯共聚物、氯乙烯-氯乙烯叉共聚物、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、聚乙烯醇、硝化纖維素、其他纖維素衍生物、聚醯胺聚酯系樹脂、本發明之(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯以及(b)丙烯酸多元醇以外的丙烯基系樹脂、丙烯基胺基甲酸乙酯系樹脂、聚酯丙烯酸酯系樹脂、聚胺基甲酸乙酯丙烯酸酯系樹脂、環氧丙烯酸酯系樹脂、胺基甲酸乙酯系樹脂、環氧系樹脂、聚碳酸酯系樹脂、三聚氰胺系樹脂、苯酚系樹脂、聚矽氧烷系樹脂等之熱可塑性樹脂、熱硬化性樹脂以及電離輻射線硬化性樹脂等之過去習知的樹脂。
本發明的聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物中之(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂的合計含有率,係由使本發明之效果充分發揮之觀點來看,係以全黏合劑組成物的50重量%以上為佳,而使其為70重量%以上、甚至是90重量%以上則更佳。
使用本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物之際,係將以上所述之各成分藉著與適當的稀釋溶劑混合而得。在此混合過程之中,(b)丙烯酸多元醇以及(d)聚酯樹脂的羥基係與(c)異氰酸系硬化劑的NCO基行化學鍵結,可獲得適宜的被膜性等之性質。
如此所得之本發明聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,係可適合用以為要求其透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性等性能之光擴散薄膜、反射薄膜、偏光薄膜等的各種光學薄膜的構件要素。
接著,就使用本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物的光學薄膜的實施型態進行說明。
本發明的光學薄膜,係於聚酯系薄膜的至少一側的面上設置有含有本發明之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物的機能層者。聚酯系薄膜係扮演著基材的角色,可舉出例如聚乙烯對苯二甲酸酯薄膜、聚乙烯萘二甲酸酯、聚丁烯對苯二甲酸酯等。此外,聚酯系薄膜亦可為實施有噴砂加工(sand-blast)、化學褪光加工等之過去習知的褪光處理者。
光學薄膜的基材方面,一般所知例如聚醯亞胺薄膜、聚丙烯薄膜、聚苯乙烯薄膜等,但聚酯系薄膜不僅具有不阻礙各種光學薄膜機能之透明性,而且在尺寸穩定性或機械強度等點上也相當優異。
聚酯系薄膜的厚度端視其用途而有所區分,通常以25~350 μm程度為佳。
機能層方面,係可舉出例如光擴散層、散亂層、反射層、防反射層、防牛頓環層、防黏連層、防靜電層、導電層等。於聚酯系薄膜上設置此等機能層者,係可使用為光擴散薄膜、光散亂薄膜、反射薄膜、偏光薄膜、防反射薄膜、繞射薄膜、相位差薄膜、防牛頓環薄膜、電磁波遮蔽薄膜、稜鏡片等之各種光學薄膜。而且,機能層可視其用途設置於聚酯系薄膜的兩面上,此時,可設置具有不同機能的機能層。
前述機能層上,可因應其機能而使其於黏合劑中含有各種的顏料、導電材料等之其他物質。例如,在光擴散層、散亂層、防牛頓環層、防黏連層等,可含有有機顏料或無機顏料之各種顏料或者是樹脂粒子。
有機顏料方面,係可舉出有丙烯樹脂粒子、聚苯乙烯樹脂粒子、聚胺基甲酸乙酯樹脂粒子、聚乙烯樹脂粒子、苯并鳥糞胺樹脂粒子、環氧樹脂粒子等。此外,無機顏料方面,係可舉出碳酸鈣、碳酸鎂、硫酸鋇、二氧化矽、氫氧化鋁、高嶺土、黏土、滑石等。特別是要求透明性的光學薄膜時,係適用透明性優異的有機顏料。
此等顏料的種類及粒子大小,可視機能層所需之特性適當地選擇。各種顏料於機能層中的含有比例,亦可視其用途適當地予以設計。例如,在光擴散層中,雖因樹脂的種類及大小而有所差異,但相對於黏合劑成分100重量份,係以使用100~300重量份的顏料或樹脂粒子為佳。而在防牛頓環層或防黏連層中,雖視樹脂的種類及大小而有所差異,但相對於黏合劑成分100重量份,係以使用0.1~3重量份的顏料或樹脂粒子為佳。
其他,反射層可含鋁膠、硫酸鋇、氧化鈦等之反射性顏料;防靜電層可含AS劑或金屬粉、碳粉、石墨等之無機物質;導電層可含碳、ITO、ATO等之導電材料。此外,防反射層一般係層合防低折射反射層與防高折射反射層者,前者中係含折射率低的顏料、二氧化矽等之中空微粒子、金屬氧化物,而後者中係含折射率高的金屬氧化物。
機能層中尚可視其需求而含有其他樹脂、交聯劑、黏著賦予劑、酸增殖劑、稀釋溶劑、填充劑、著色劑、褪光劑、易滑劑、防靜電劑、難燃劑、抗菌劑、防霉劑、紫外線吸收劑、光穩定劑、抗氧化劑、可塑劑、勻化劑、顏料分散劑、流動調整劑、消泡劑等。
機能層的厚度可視其用途予以適當區分,通常為0.5~50 μm之範圍。
本發明的光學薄膜,係將上述構成含有聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物之機能層之材料溶解於適當的溶劑中,調製出機能層用塗佈液,將此塗佈液藉由過去習知的方法,例如刮棒塗佈、刮刀塗佈、旋轉塗佈、輥塗佈、凹印輥塗佈、流延塗佈、噴霧、網版印刷等,於聚酯系薄膜上進行塗佈、乾燥而得。
此外,聚酯系薄膜上設置機能層的面上,及/或於該反側的面上,若設置光擴散層、散亂層、反射層、防反射層、防牛頓環層、防黏連層、防靜電層、導電層等之各種光學機能層,或設置光擴散薄膜、光散亂薄膜、反射薄膜、偏光薄膜、防反射薄膜、繞射薄膜、相位差薄膜、防牛頓環薄膜、電磁波遮蔽薄膜、增光薄膜等之各種光學薄膜,或硬塗膜等之保護薄膜等也沒有關係。
以下,本發明係藉由實施例進一步說明之。而且,「份」、「%」若並無特別指示,係以重量為基準。
以厚度100 μm的聚酯薄膜(Lumirror T60:東麗公司)作為基材薄膜,於此薄膜一側的面上,將下述處方之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物a~i以輥塗佈法進行塗佈,在100℃下使其乾燥加熱2分鐘,形成厚度3 μm的樹脂層A~I,製作成實施例以及比較例的層合體。
下述表1中,係表示實施例及比較例之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物a~i的高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)等等之含有量(份)。又,表2中係表示,就構成實施例及比較例之樹脂層A~I之材料,當以高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)或低分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)’的含有量100份來換算時,所得的丙烯酸多元醇(b)、異氰酸系硬化劑(c)以及聚酯樹脂(d)的含有量(份)。此外,於樹脂層G中,因不含高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)或低分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)’,故未予以記載。
.高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)(表1中記載之份量)(分子量30~55萬、固體成分10%).低分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)’(表1中記載之份量)(ACRYDEC A-195:大日本油墨化學工業公司)(分子量2~3萬、固體成分40%).丙烯酸多元醇(b) (表1中記載之份量)(ACRYDEC A-807:大日本油墨化學工業公司、固體成分50%).異氰酸系硬化劑(c) (表1中記載之份量)(Takenate D110N:三井化學Polyurethanes公司、固體成分60%).聚酯樹脂(d) (表1中記載之份量)(VYLON 200:東洋紡績公司、固體成分10%).稀釋溶劑 300份
關於實施例及比較例所得之層合體,係進行如下之評價。評價結果列示於表3。
關於實施例及比較例中所得的層合體,係基於JIS K7361-1:1997使用濁度計(NDH2000:日本電色工業公司)來測定全光線透過率。而且,關於全光線透過率之測定,係使光由層合體的樹脂層側射入來進行測定。
關於實施例及比較例中所得之層合體的樹脂層,係基於JIS K5600-5-4:1990之鉛筆劃痕的試驗機法進行擦傷測定。測定值為H以上者評價「○」;F者評價「△」;HB以下者評價「×」。
使用浸染有甲乙酮之拭油布反覆擦拭實施例及比較例中所得之層合體的樹脂層表面10次,觀察擦拭之後樹脂層的狀態。樹脂層沒有變化者評價為「○」;僅只傷及樹脂層的表層,而輕微反白者評價為「△」;樹脂層整體受到損傷,而剝離者評價為「×」。
在具有實施例及比較例中所得之層合體樹脂層之面,以JIS-K5400:1990的棋盤網目膠帶剝離法為基準,切割使間隙間隔1 mm的網孔為100個,黏貼透明黏著膠帶,使其剝離之後以目視觀察塗膜的狀態。就棋盤網目部分,若完全沒有發生剝離則評價為「○」;棋盤網目中的一部分或全部發生剝離則評價為「×」。
由表3的結果可清楚得知,實施例的層合體因為由含有(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物所構成之故,而成透明性高,且被膜性、耐溶劑性以及黏著性俱佳者。
特別是實施例1~3的層合體,在樹脂層中,相對於100重量份的(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,係因含有20~80重量份的(b)丙烯酸多元醇、2~30重量份的(d)聚酯樹脂之故,而成被膜性、耐溶劑性以及黏著性特別優異者。
另一方面,比較例1的層合體,係因單獨使用(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯來作為聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物之故,雖然在透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性上表現優異,但在黏著性評價時,其樹脂層完全剝離,導致其對聚酯薄膜的黏著性極差。
比較例2的層合體,雖使用(b)丙烯酸多元醇及(c)異氰酸系硬化劑作為聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,但因不含(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,所以雖對聚酯系薄膜表現出優異的黏著性,可是被膜性及耐溶劑性卻不佳。
比較例3的層合體,雖使用(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑作為聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,但因不含(d)聚酯樹脂,所以雖在被膜性及耐溶劑性上表現優異,可是對聚酯薄膜的黏著性卻不佳。
比較例4的層合體,係因使用低分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)’而非高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(a)之故,其耐溶劑性表現不佳。
接著,於上述所製作之實施例1~5的聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物a~e中,添加150份之聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯粒子(TECPOLYMER MBX-8:積水化成品工業公司),形成厚度12 μm的機能層(光擴散層),以製作實施例1~5的光學薄膜(光擴散薄膜)。就此等之光學薄膜進行與上述相同的評價時,無論何者均為透明性、被膜性、耐溶劑性以及對聚酯薄膜之黏著性佳者。此外,關於機能層的機能(光擴散性)也無任何問題發生係為良好。
Claims (4)
- 一種聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,其特徵係含有(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、(b)丙烯酸多元醇、(c)異氰酸系硬化劑以及(d)聚酯樹脂,且相對於(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯100重量份,(b)丙烯酸多元醇為20~80重量份、(d)聚酯樹脂為2~30重量份。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物,其中,(a)高分子量聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯的重量平均分子量為10萬~60萬。
- 一種光學薄膜,其特徵係於聚酯系薄膜之至少一面上,設置含有如申請專利範圍第1或2項之聚酯系薄膜用黏合劑組成物之機能層。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項之光學薄膜,其中,該機能層係選自光擴散層、散亂層、反射層、防反射層、防牛頓環層、防黏連層、防靜電層以及導電層中之1種或2種以上。
