經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印制衣 1241239 A7 B7 五、發明說明(I ) 本發明之領域 本發明乃關於製造壓力容器之技藝,且更特別地是關 於用於製造複合壓力容器之改良方法以及關於根據該改良 之方法所製造之複合壓力容器。 本發明之背景 例如爲熱水加熱器、鍋爐、加壓氣體儲槽等之壓力容 器傳統上係從例如爲鋼鐵之金屬以製造。不過,近來年複 合壓力容器之使用已變得更盛行。這些複合壓力容器典型 上係藉使用如環氧樹脂、聚酯類與乙烯基酯類之熱固性塑 膠樹脂之長絲纏繞方法以製造。簡單地說,此工藝係將例 如爲玻璃纖維絲之乾纖維在施加至心軸之前以催化樹脂浸 漬之方法。亦可以使用預浸漬纖維(“預浸漬”)。心軸與施 加之複合物然後在室溫下或加熱熟化以放置積層物,從而 得到硬樹脂與纖維積層物外殼。此外殼係從心軸處移除或 心軸本身成爲此成品之一部份。雖然特定之產品用途將決 定樹脂之精確的功能,但在所有例子中其係作爲支撐結構 以保持連續纖維絲在正確之位置上。 · 使用在這些方法中之熱固性樹脂可以歸類爲低溫度商 品類,特性爲其相當容易之使用、低價與可用性。這些樹 脂長久以來係用於符合廣範圍之壓力容器產品之性能要求 。不過’這些樹脂具有熟知之缺點’包括其有限之溫度特 性、不令人滿意之成品美觀、缺乏超過期限之耐久性、缺 乏適當之循環再利用、以及與製造有關之問題、例如爲了 淸潔而停止生產以及材料之處理費用。此外,在製造過程 4 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) ----裝----------訂--------- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 1241239 Α7 Β7 五、發明說明(1) 中會遭遇到來自工人曝露在汽體、超出範圍之噴灑、排氣 等之環境問題。某些精心策劃之熱固性樹脂經由較高之溫 度特性以改良其性能,但與其有關的是無法接受的材料費 用。 再者,由於所採用之材料與方法,根據習知技藝方法 所製造之複合壓力容器,本質上沿著材料之某些溫度敏感 之不相容處具有殘留且顯著之內應力,此會限制壓力容器 可使用之溫度與壓力範圍。 所以提高性能之要求、環境之問題、製造之問題與新 市場機會已強調出使用熱固性樹脂在複合壓力容器製造上 之限制。因此具有較高溫度與壓力特性、改良之外觀與較 高之耐久性以及撞擊阻抗特性之複合壓力容器,且其之製 造係更環境上無害、更節省費用且存在較少之製造問題係 高度盼望的。 所以用於製造在所有這些領域中皆可達成改善之複合 壓力容器之方法,將需要一基本上完全不同之原理係熟習 該項技藝之人士所可以瞭解的。本發明係關於提供此一基 本上改良之方法以及關於藉此方法所製造之壓力容器,且 藉使可以得到下述之特性:在較高溫度下纖維與樹脂間改 良之接觸、對加強/基體比値之較佳控制、可以有效地回收 碎屑材料、減少排放所引起之法規問題、用於纏繞(或疊放 模式)與熟化步驟之較高處理速率、由於較少材料處理所得 到之可能人工節省、地板面積之減少、對自動化之適應性 、對作業員較安全之環境、生產線與材料儲存與處理之簡 5 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公ίΐ ' _ . ^^^裝—-—L—訂---------- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 1241239 A7 B7 五、發明說明(5) 化、較快之更換時間、較快之起動、較低之訓練費用、較 低之能量費用等。所以,根據該方法所製造之壓力容器係 本質上已應力釋放的且展示較習知技藝壓力容器爲改良之 性能,尤其是其可以承受較高之壓力與溫度、其有更高之 撞擊阻抗且亦具有顯著較佳之成品。 本發明之目的 所以本發明之主要目的係提供一用於製造複合壓力容 器之改良方法。 更特別地,本發明之目的係提供此一改良之方法,與 製造複合壓力容器之習知技藝相反的是,其具有之優點包 括:對加強/基體比値之較佳控制、可以有效地回收碎屑材 料、減少排放所引起之法規問題、用於纏繞(或疊放模式) 與熟化步驟之較高處理速率、由於較少材料處理所得到之 可觀人工節省、地板面積之減少、對自動化之適應性、對 作業員較安全之環境、生產線與材料儲存與處理之簡化、 較快之更換時間、較快之起動、較低之訓練費用、較低之 能量費用等。 在另一方面,本發明之目的係提供一用於製造複合壓 力容器之方法,該複合壓力容器在使用時至少具有與傳統 之壓力容器一樣好之長期性能。 在更另一方面,本發明之目的係提供一根據該新方法 所製造之高品質複合壓力容器。 還是在更另一方面,本發明之目的係提供一高品質複 合壓力容器’其具有改良之耐久性、撞擊阻抗與腐蝕阻抗 ____ 6 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(21〇 X 297公爱) . 裝----------訂--------- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁} 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 1241239 A7 B7 五、發明說明(b ) 實例中,襯墊/心軸1通常係拉長之預成形結構,其在每一 個終端處係以具有中央、軸開口 4、5之圓頂形狀2、3終 結。熱塑性襯墊1例如可以是由聚丙烯、聚乙烯、聚對苯 二甲酸丁二醇酯、聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯或以聚丙烯、聚 乙烯、聚對苯二甲酸丁二醇酯、聚對苯二甲酸乙二醇酯浸 漬過之纖維(例如玻璃纖維)、或其他具有適當性質之熱塑 性材料所製造,且其可以藉任何適合之傳統方法來製備, 例如將切斷之纖維、方向、編織及/或針織纖維織物以容器 之形狀縫合或焊接在一起且與熱塑性材料混合之組合進行 模塑。 如圖3中所示,纖維之單纖維、粗紗、紗線或帶子6( 例如玻璃纖維、碳纖維、硼纖維等)與熱塑性材料係有系統 地纏繞在熱塑性襯墊1之外表面上以生成本質上均勻之覆 蓋物7,如圖4中之放大部份截面圖所示。此步驟例如可 以藉將熱塑性襯墊1安裝在心軸8上且如箭頭9所示般旋 轉襯墊、同時將單纖維、粗紗、紗線或帶子6從在旁邊且 互相橫越之以雙箭號1〇所表示之源頭有系統地飼入,且持 續此步驟直到覆蓋物7達到所欲之厚度。材料6可以”冷” 纏繞至熱塑性襯墊1上、或在某些應用中可以通過加熱器 12以產生具有較佳功能及/或美觀特性之更均勻覆蓋物7( 圖4)。所生成之結構11係然後進一步如將於下文中所詳 述般處理。 已發現在圓頂與終端零件之區域中適當地改變進料速 率是所欲的,如此可以得到在襯墊1之整個長度上本質上 9 ^紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) ^^^裝---Ilf--訂--------- (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁)
