Abstract

本發明揭露一種發光裝置,其包含一印刷電路板、一反射層,係設置於印刷電路板之上、一導光層,係對應設置於反射層上、一或多個發光單元,係設置於導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由此一或多個側邊進入導光層,其中導光層係可撓曲一或多個弧度,以及其中導光層之一表面係由複數個微結構組合而成,以達到最佳出光效果,並增加發光面之輝度均勻性。

Description

發光裝置
本發明係關於發光裝置;具體而言,係關於利用發光二極體作為光源的發光裝置,其具可撓性並可將光線輝度均勻化。
隨著發光二極體(LED)的發展越趨成熟,其應用也越來越廣。目前,許多車廠利用發光二極體作為車載燈具的光源。然而,發光二極體屬點光源,其輝度難以達到高均勻的效果,這會導致其他車輛的駕駛者產生不舒適的眩光。再者,習知背光模組大多屬於矩形的平面光源,與一般車載燈具的發光面形狀有很大的差異,若直接將現有背光模組的設計應用在車載燈具,會造成輝度均勻度不佳的情況。另外,習知發光二極體的背光模組技術所使用的導光板通常不具可撓性,應用在車載燈具時,設計上有諸多限制,且車燈的整體體積也較為厚重。
因此,本技藝需要的是一種可提高發光二極體發光面的輝度均勻性、在視覺上得以改進舒適度並且可將光線導向車軸進行法規 配光的發光裝置。
本發明之一面向,係提供一種發光裝置。此裝置包含一一印刷電路板;一反射層,係設置於印刷電路板之上;一導光層,係對應設置於反射層上;以及一或多個發光單元,係設置於導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由其一或多個側邊進入導光層,其中導光層係可撓曲一或多個弧度,以及其中導光層之一表面係由複數個微結構組合而成,以達到最佳出光效果,並增加發光面之輝度均勻性。
本發明之另一面向,係提供一種發光裝置。此裝置包含一印刷電路板;一反射層,係設置於印刷電路板之上;一導光層,係對應設置於反射層上;以及一或多個發光單元,係設置於導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由此一或多個側邊進入導光層;以及一可撓式微結構層,係設置於導光層之上方或下方,其中可撓式微結構層具有複數個微結構,每個微結構具有一第一形狀或一第二形狀,依照可撓式微結構層之撓曲弧度排列組合,以及其中第一形狀至少具有一圓弧面而第二形狀至少具有一平面,以達到增光及偏光的效果。
本發明之又一面向,係提供一車載發光裝置。此裝置包含一印刷電路板,電性耦接一車體;一反射層,係設置於印刷電路板之上;一導光層,係對應設置於反射層上;一或多個發光單元,係設置於導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由此一或多個側邊進入導光層;以 及一保護殼體,與車體連結,以將印刷電路板、反射層、一或多個發光單元、以及導光層包覆於其中,其中導光層係可撓曲一或多個弧度,以及其中導光層之一表面係由複數個微結構依照保護殼體的外型排列組合而成,以達到最佳出光效果。

以下將詳細描述本發明之各實施例的細節,各實施例範例之伴隨圖式,在本說明書中,類似標號係代表類似元件。
本發明揭露一種發光裝置。在本發明的一實施例中,此發光裝置具有一可撓式導光層,其表面設有複數個微結構,依照導光層之撓曲弧度,利用不同形狀的微結構排列組合,達到最佳出光率。
參照圖1,其繪示本發明之一實施例中,一發光裝置10的 示意圖。舉例而言,本發明之發光裝置10可以例如尾燈、剎車燈、方向燈、倒車燈、日行燈、駐車燈、牌照燈與室內燈等類似車載燈具實施。或者,本發明之發光裝置10亦可適用於任何具有方向性配光需求的燈具,好比號誌燈。然而,熟此技藝者當知,本發明之發光裝置10並不限於上述範例,任何具有可撓式導光層,且導光層上的微結構可依照其表面的撓曲弧度以不同形狀排列組合,以達到最佳出光效果的發光裝置皆落入本發明之範疇。
如圖1所示,本發明之發光裝置10可包含一印刷電路板11,係可電性耦接一外部電子裝置。在發光裝置10為一車載燈具的實施例中,印刷電路板11亦可耦接一車體30內的電子裝置,藉此駕駛者可透過車體30的內部裝置控制本發明之發光裝置10。
在本發明之一實施例中,印刷電路板11上可設有一或多個發光單元12。在一較佳實施例中,本發明發光單元12可以發光二極體(LED)實施,而發光二極體又以側發光型發光二極體尤佳。然而,熟此技藝者當知,其他類型的發光元件亦不偏離本發明之範疇。
本發明之發光裝置10亦可包含一反射層13。在本發明之一實施例中,反射層13係形成於印刷電路板11之上,以作反射光線之用。舉例而言,本發明之反射層13可由高反射率的材質組成,例如是在印體電路板11上的一高反射率塗層,或者是疊層在印刷電路板11上的高反射片。然而,熟此技藝者當知,任何可高度反射發光單元12之光線的材質皆落入本發明之範疇。
如圖1所示,在本發明之發光裝置10更可包含一導光層14,負責引導來自一或多個發光單元12的光線進入其中。在本發明之一實施例中,導光層14係設於反射層13之上,且一或多個發光單元12係位於導光層14之兩側。也就是說,來自一或多個發光單元12的光線會從導光層14的側邊進入導光層14。
參照圖2,其繪示本發明之一實施例中,導光層14之示意圖。在此實施例中,導光層14之側邊具有一凹弧形的入光面142,藉此,不但可以減少入光面142所產生的全反射,更可提高發光單元12的發散角度,進而降低光源與光源之間的暗帶。
回到圖1,在本發明之一實施例中,導光層14之一表面設有複數個微結構141。在一實施例中,此等微結構141係設置於導光層14之一底面。換句話說,微結構141係位於導光層14與反射層13之間。然而,在另一實施例中,微結構層141亦可設置於導光層14之一頂面,也就是位於導光層14與一空氣層17之間。
本發明之微結構141可用於破壞導光層14內全反射的光線,並產生漫射與改變光現行徑路線,讓光線集中往出光面的光軸方向,藉此提高光線的均勻度並增加出光量。在本發明之一實施例中,導光層14表面上的微結構141可以同種形狀或不同形狀的立體結構實施,例如但不限於圓球型、橢圓球型、錐形、柱狀型或平頂錐形等等。在本發明之另一實施例中,微結構141亦可以凸型及/或凹型結構實施。根據本發明,不同形狀的微結構141可具有不同的功能。舉例 而言,球型的微結構141可用來增加導光層14正向出光的效率與均勻度,因此亦可稱為正向型微結構。舉另一例而言,錐形的微結構141可依照每個面的角度有效地改變光線路徑,因此亦可稱為偏光型微結構。
參照圖3a與3b,其分別繪示本發明之一實施例中,正向型微結構與偏光型微結構之光分佈模擬圖與測試點結果。如圖3a所示,正向型微結構使光線的最大強度落在左12.5°、上16°,而H-V點(0°,0°)的光強度為57.86cd。而在偏光型微結構的環境下,光線的最大強度可調整在H-V點(0°,0°)的位置,其強度為67.87cd。藉此可知,本發明之偏光型微結構不但得以使光分佈的亮區變集中,亦可增加光的強度。
在本發明之一實施例中,導光層14係由一可撓性材質製造而成。舉例而言,本發明之導光層14可以矽膠及/或其他可透光之光學及材料製造而成。根據導光層14的撓曲弧度,導光層14表面的複數個微結構141可以一或多種不同類型(例如上述之正向型或偏光型)的微結構141排列組合,以提升光線的正面出光率及/或發光面(未圖示)的輝度均勻性。舉例而言,導光層14較彎曲(即弧度較大)的部分可設置較多的偏光型微結構141,以有效改變光線路徑,增加光軸方向的光線強度,而導光層14相對較不彎曲(即弧度較小)的部分可設置較多的正向型微結構141,以增加導光層14的正向出光效率與均勻度。
在本發明之另一實施例中,複數個微結構141亦可獨立成 一層結構,設置於導光層14之上方或下方。在此實施例中,複數個微結構141所組成的微結構層係以可撓性材質製造而成,而微結構層上的微結構141可以一或多種不同類型(例如上述之正向型或偏光型)的微結構141排列組合,以提升光線的正面出光率。舉例而言,微結構層較彎曲(即弧度較大)的部分可設置較多的偏光型微結構141,以有效改變光線路徑,增加光軸方向的光線強度,而微結構層相對較不彎曲(即弧度較小)的部分可設置較多的正向型微結構141,以增加導光層14的正向出光效率與均勻度。在一實施例中,微結構層可依附於導光層14之一頂面或一底面,以輔助導光層14的導光功能。
在本發明之一實施例中,發光裝置10亦可包含一擴散層15,係設置於導光層14之上,如圖1所示。本發明之擴散層15係可由擴散片或添加擴散材料的塑膠件組成實施。然而,熟此技藝者當知,任何可將導光層14出光的光線擴散均勻的材質皆適用於本發明之擴散層15。在本發明之一實施例中,擴散層15上可額外增加一增光層(未圖示)及/或偏光層(未圖示),以進一步調整出光效果。
在本發明之一實施例中,發光裝置10更可包含一遮光件16,係設置於導光層14與擴散層15之間。本發明之遮光件16係用於遮蔽發光單元12在入光面142上方的亮區,藉此提高導光層14的均勻度。根據本發明,遮光件16的大小及相對位置可根據導光層14之撓曲弧度作調整,以達到最佳的出光效果。
在本發明之一實施例中,發光裝置10亦可包含一空氣層17, 係設置於導光層14之上,如圖1所示。本發明之空氣層17係負責提升光線通過擴散層15後的輝度均勻性,空氣層厚度最少需大於等於0mm。
在本發明之一實施例中,發光裝置10亦可包含一承載件18。在一實施例中,本發明之承載件18可承載印刷電路板11、反射層12、導光層14以及一或多個發光單元12。然而,本發明之承載件18亦可進一步承載擴散層15、遮光件16以及空氣層17。本發明之承載件18可使用高反射率的材質製成,或者承載件18的內側可增加反射層,藉此得以改善導光層14側面漏光的情況,提高光線的利用率。
在本發明之一實施例中,發光裝置10可以一車載燈具(例如尾燈、剎車燈、方向燈、倒車燈、日行燈、駐車燈、牌照燈與室內燈)實施,已如上述。如圖1所示,當本發明作為一車載燈具時,發光裝置10更可包含一保護殼體20,係與一車體30相連,以將印刷電路板11、一或多個發光單元12、反射層13、以及導光層14包覆於其中。本發明之保護殼體20更可進一步的將擴散層15、遮光件16、空氣層17、以及承載件18包覆於其中,以完整的保護發光裝置10的各元件。當本發明之發光裝置10作為一車載燈具時,複數個相同或不同形狀的微結構141可依照保護殼體20的外型,排列形成一或多個弧度,以達到最佳出光效果。藉此,本發明之車載發光裝置10不但在外型設計上可有更多變化,並且在照明功能上可改進其發光面的輝度均勻性。
本發明已透過以上具體實施例作一詳細說明,惟以上所述者,僅係用以說明本發明之較佳實施例而已,並不能限定本發明之實施範圍。即凡依本發明申請範圍所作之均等變化與修飾等,皆應仍屬本發明專利涵蓋範圍內。

Claims (38)

  1. 一種發光裝置,該裝置包含:一印刷電路板;一反射層,係設置於該印刷電路板之上;一導光層,係對應設置於該反射層上;以及一或多個發光單元,係設置於該導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由該一或多個側邊進入該導光層,其中該導光層係可撓曲一或多個弧度;以及其中該導光層之一表面係由複數個微結構組合而成,以達到最佳出光效果,並增加發光面之輝度均勻性。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其中該複數個微結構可為凸型及/或凹型微結構。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其中該複數個微結構可為不只一種立體形狀。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,更包含一擴散層,係設置於該導光層之上。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之裝置,更包含一遮光件,係設置於該導光層與該擴散層之間。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其中該一或多個發光單元為發光二極體。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之裝置,更包含一空氣層,係形成於該導光層與該擴散層之間。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,更包含一承載件,負責承載該印刷電路板、該反射層、該導光層以及該一或多個發光單元。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其中光線進入該導光層之該側邊係凹弧形。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其中該裝置係可裝設於一車體。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之裝置,其中該裝置係可裝設於任一具有方向性配光需求的物體。
  12. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之裝置,更包含一增光層,係形成於該擴散層之上。
  13. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之裝置,更包含一偏光層,係形成於該擴散層之上。
  14. 一種發光裝置,該裝置包含:一印刷電路板; 一反射層,係設置於該印刷電路板之上;一導光層,係對應設置於該反射層上;一或多個發光單元,係設置於該導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由該一或多個側邊進入該導光層;以及一可撓式微結構層,係設置於該導光層之上方或下方,其中該可撓式微結構層具有複數個微結構,每個微結構具有一第一形狀或一第二形狀,依照該可撓式微結構層之撓曲弧度排列組合,以及其中該第一形狀至少具有一圓弧面而該第二形狀至少具有一平面,以達到增光及偏光的效果。
  15. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中該可撓式微結構層係可依附於該導光層之一頂面或一底面。
  16. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中該複數個微結構可為凸型或凹型微結構。
  17. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中該複數個微結構可為任一立體形狀。
  18. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,更包含一擴散層,係設置於該導光層之上。
  19. 如申請專利範圍第18項所述之裝置,更包含一遮光件,係設置於該導光層與該擴散層之間。
  20. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中該一或多個發光單元為發光二極體。
  21. 如申請專利範圍第18項所述之裝置,更包含一空氣層,係形成於該導光層與該擴散層之間。
  22. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,更包含一承載件,負責承載該印刷電路板、該反射層、該一或多個發光單元、該可撓式微結構層以及該導光層。
  23. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中光線進入該導光層之該側邊係凹弧形。
  24. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中該裝置係可裝設於一車體。
  25. 如申請專利範圍第14項所述之裝置,其中該裝置係可裝設於任一具有方向性配光需求的物體。
  26. 如申請專利範圍第18項所述之裝置,更包含一增光層,係形成於該擴散層之上。
  27. 如申請專利範圍第18項所述之裝置,更包含一偏光層,係形成於該擴散層之上。
  28. 一種車載發光裝置,該裝置包含:一印刷電路板,電性耦接一車體;一反射層,係設置於該印刷電路板之上;一導光層,係對應設置於該反射層上;一或多個發光單元,係設置於該導光層之一或多個側邊,使光線由該一或多個側邊進入該導光層;以及一保護殼體,與該車體連結,以將該印刷電路板、該反射層、該一或多個發光單元、以及該導光層包覆於其中,其中該導光層係可撓曲一或多個弧度;以及其中該導光層之一表面係由複數個微結構依照該保護殼體的外型排列組合而成,以達到最佳出光效果。
  29. 如申請專利範圍第28項所述之裝置,其中該複數個微結構可為凸型及/或凹型微結構。
  30. 如申請專利範圍第28項所述之裝置,其中該複數個微結構可為不只一種立體形狀。
  31. 如申請專利範圍第28項所述之裝置,更包含一擴散層,係設置於該導光層之上,並包覆於該保護殼體內。
  32. 如申請專利範圍第31項所述之裝置,更包含一遮光件,係設置於該導光層與該擴散層之間,並包覆於該保護殼體內。

  36. 如申請專利範圍第28項所述之裝置,其中光線進入該可撓式導光層之該側邊係凹弧形。
