Claims (12)
1. Способ получения топлива, при этом способ включает
резку источника волокна для получения первого волокнистого материала;
пропускание первого волокнистого материала через первое сито, имеющее средний размер отверстия, равный приблизительно 1,59 мм и менее (1/16 дюйма, 0,0625 дюйма), для получения второго волокнистого материала; и

4. Способ по п.1, где углеводород выбирают из группы, состоящей из метана, этана, пропана, изобутена, пентана, н-гексана и их смесей.
5. Способ по п.1, где второй волокнистый материал характеризуется площадью удельной поверхности больше, чем приблизительно 0,25 м2/г, определяемой по методу БЭТ.
6. Способ по п.1, где второй волокнистый материал характеризуется площадью удельной поверхности больше, чем приблизительно 1,25 м2/г, определяемой по методу БЭТ.
7. Способ по п.1, где второй волокнистый материал характеризуется пористостью больше, чем приблизительно 85%.
8. Способ получения топлива, при этом способ включает
резку источника волокна для получения первого волокнистого материала; и
пропускание первого волокнистого материала через первое сито, имеющее средний размер отверстия, равный приблизительно 1,59 мм и менее (1/16 дюйма, 0,0625 дюйма), для получения второго волокнистого материала;
гидролиз второго волокнистого материала для получения гидролизованного материала; и
объединение гидролизованного материала с бактерией и/или ферментом, при этом бактерия и/или фермент используют гидролизованный материал для получения топлива, включающего водород, спирт, органическую кислоту и/или углеводород.
9. Способ уплотнения волокнистой композиции, при этом способ включает
резку источника волокна для получения волокнистого материала;
объединение волокнистого материала с бактерией и/или ферментом для получения композиции волокнистого материала;
инкапсулирование композиции в, по существу, газонепроницаемом материале; и
удаление из инкапсулированной композиции захваченного газа для уплотнения композиции.
10. Способ по п.9, где, по существу, газонепроницаемый материал является растворимым в воде.
11. Способ по п.10, где, по существу, газонепроницаемый материал имеет форму пакета.
12. Способ по п.9, где после удаления захваченного газа волокнистый материал характеризуется объемной плотностью больше, чем приблизительно 0,6 г/см3.
