Abstract
The present utility model relates to a dried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi (Citrofortunella microcarpa) and turmeric and the process of producing thereof that would offer individuals with vitamins and minerals deficiencies a healthy food option. The process of producing dried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi and turmeric comprises the steps of: a. securing and collecting slipmouth fishes in a containing means; b. washing and cleaning the fishes after splitting to remove gills and internal organs; c. soaking the cleaned fishes in brine solution; d. soaking the brine-treated fishes in calamansi juice; e. draining the calamansi-treated fishes; f. soaking the drained fishes in turmeric concentrate; and g. drying the turmeric-treated fishes. The product produced by the foregoing process is a dried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi and turmeric.
