Abstract
The present utility model relates to a process of producing dried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi and ginger that would be carried out to actually produce a food item or supplement featuring the health benefits of the fish specie. The process of producing dried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi and ginger comprises the steps of: a. collecting a predetermined number of slipmouth fishes; b. washing and cleaning the fishes to remove gills and internal organs; c. soaking the cleaned fishes in brine solution; d. soaking the brine-treated fishes in calamansi juice; e. draining the calamansi-treated fishes; f. soaking the calamansi-treated fishes in ginger concentrate; g. pouring ginger over the calamansi-treated fishes; h. drying the ginger-treated fishes; and i. frying the dried fishes.
