Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en porøs karbongjenstand, omfattende trinnene å utforme et arbeidsstykke med transport- porøsitet, og å danne nanoporer i arbeids- stykket ved termokjemisk behandling. I henhold til oppfinnelsen utformes arbeidsstykket som et rigid karbonholdig skjelett, hvilket i sin struktur inneholder partikler av ett eller flere karbider utvalgt og anordnet for å tilveiebringe forutbestemte nanopore- størrelser, et forutbestemt volum av nanoporer og en forutbestemt fordeling av nanoporer i gjenstandens volum.
