Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for behandling av avvann som inneholder organiske stoffer, spesielt klororganiske forbindel- ser som stammer fra fremstilling av epiklorhydrin. Avvannet fra syntesereaktoren og som inneholder adsorberbare organiske halogenforbindelser (AOX) i en mengde på mer enn 10 mg/1, utsettes for minst en totrinns avklorerings- og/eller dehydrokloreringsbehandling, hvorved awannet som oppviser en pH- verdi på 10-14 (målt ved romtemperatur ) eller som reguleres til en slik pH-ver- di, i et første skritt innføres i minst en ytterligere reaktor og/eller strøm- mer gjennom denne, idet en temperatur på over 75°C, et trykk på minst l bar (abs.) og en oppholdstid på minst 0,5 timer innstilles eller overholdes i reaktoren og de klororganiske forbin- delser som er inneholdt i awannet, blir delvis avklorert og/eller dehydro- klorert, og derpå utføres minst en yt- terligere avklorerings- og/eller dehyd- rokloreringsbehandling i et annet trinn, fortrinnsvis i nærvær av en hyd- rogenholdig gass eller en forbindelse som frigjør hydrogen og/eller i nærvær av et katalytisk virkende stoff. Det behandlede awann blir deretter fjernet fra reaktoren(e) og/eller utsatt for en biologisk behandling under anvendelse av mikroorganismer. En anordning for utførelse av fremgangsmåten er også krevet.
