Claims (4)
1. Fremgangsmåte for kontinuerlig fremstilling av en polyaluminiumsilikat-mikrogel som medfører redusert silika-avsetning, hvor mikrogelen omfatter en løsning av silikapartikler som har diameter 1-2 nm og et overflateareal på minst 1 000 m /g, og som er bundet sammen til individuelle kjeder som danner tredimensjonale nettverksstrukturer,
karakterisert ved at fremgangsmåten omfatter: (a) en første strøm omfattende en vannløselig silikatløsning og en andre strøm omfattende et alkalimetallaluminat føres samtidig inn i en blandesone i fravær av sterk syre med pKa lavere enn 6, hvor strømmene går sammen i en vinkel på ikke mindre enn 30° og med tilstrekkelig hastighet til at det i blandesonen oppnås et Reynolds tall på minst 4000, og det dannes en resulterende silikat/aluminat-blanding med en silikakonsentrasjon fra 1 til 6 vekt%ogpH>8, (b) silikat/aluminat-blandingen aldres i tilstrekkelig tid til at det oppnås et ønsket nivå av partiell gelering, men ikke lenger enn 15 minutter, og (c) den aldrede blanding fortynnes til en silikakonsentrasjon på ikke over 2,0 vekt%.
2. Fremgangsmåte for kontinuerlig fremstilling av en polyaluminiumsilikat-mikrogel som medfører redusert silika-avsetning, hvor mikrogelen omfatter en løsning av silikapartikler som har diameter 1-2 nm og et overflateareal på minst 1 000 m<2>/g, og som er bundet sammen til individuelle kjeder som danner tredimensjonale nettverksstrukturer,
karakterisert ved at fremgangsmåten omfatter: (a) en første strøm omfattende en vannløselig silikatløsning og en andre strøm omfattende et alkalimetallaluminat føres samtidig inn i en ringformet blandeinnretning i fråvær av en sterk syre med pKa lavere enn 6, hvor strømmene går sammen ved at en strøm fra et indre rør i blandeinnretningen føres inn i en andre strøm som strømmer gjennom et ytre rør, med tilstrekkelig hastighet til at det i blandeinnretningens blandesone oppnås et Reynolds tall på minst 4000, hvor den resulterende silikat/ aluminat-blanding får en silikakonsentrasjon fra 1 til 6 vekt% og pH>8, (b) silikat/aluminat-blandingen aldres i tilstrekkelig lang tid til at de primære silikapartikler bindes sammen og danner tredimensjonale strukturer samtidig som de holder seg i løsning, men ikke mer enn 15 minutter, og (c) den aldrede blanding fortynnes til en silikakonsentrasjon på ikke over 2,0 vekt%.
3. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor silikakonsentrasjonen ikke er over 1,0 vekt%.
4. Fremgangsmåte ifølge krav 1,2 og 3, hvor konsentrasjonen av aluminat reguleres med silikat- og aluminatstrømmens volumetriske strømningshastigheter.
