Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av renset silisium ved en energibesparende fremgangsmåte fra et redusert silisium oppnådd ved å redusere et silisiumhalogenid med aluminium metall. Fremgangsmåten omfatter reduksjon av et silisiumhalogenid med et aluminium metall for å gi et redusert silisium, oppvarming og smelting av det resulterende reduserte silisiumet, og tilsetning av bor dertil, etterfulgt av størkning for rensing under betingelsen med en temperaturgradient tilveiebrakt i en retning i en form. Etter vasking med en syre oppvarmes og smeltes det reduserte silisiumet fortrinnsvis og bor tilsettes dertil. Etter at det reduserte silisiumet er oppvarmet og smeltet under redusert trykk tilsettes bor dertil. Etter oppvarming og smelting renses det reduserte silisiumet ved størkning i en retning, blir deretter oppvarmet og smeltet, og deretter tilsettes bor dertil.
