Abstract
En prosess er beskrevet som anvender fremstillinger av hele celler, immobiliserte eller uten immobilisering, av en mikroorganisme, inkludert Aureobasidium pullulans, i stand til å danne enzymer av gruppen av fruktosyltransferaser, for å katalysere en reaksjon mellom sukrose og 6-O-beskyttet glukose for dannelse av 6-O-beskyttet sukrose, et mellomprodukt i syntesen av triklorogaiaktosukrose. 6-O-beskyttet sukrose separeres fra de høyere molekylvekts biproduktene i reaksjonen som har molekylvekt på 500 dalton og mer ved reversosmose, og videre renset ved kolonnekromatografi.
