Abstract

Sonikering av et medium for eksempel i et immunoassay er sørget for ved å påføre lydbølger fra en transduser til en beholder, i hvilken mediet er holdt oppe av en sonotrode som er koblet mellom transduseren og beholderen. Sonotroden har en fordypning eller utsparing, i hvilken beholderen er understøttet, og der fordypningen/ utsparingen er formet av motstående flater av et mangfold av fremstikkende deler av sonotroden og adskilt av spalter og arrangert rundt fordypningen eller utsparingen. Sonotroden er koblet til beholderen via tørr kontakt med beholderen uten noen koblende mellomliggende lag. Bruken av en slik sonotrode skaffer til veie fordeler som tillater effektiv sonikering med relativt lavt energitap og med en lav temperaturøkning. ?? ?? ?? ??
