Abstract

En spiralviklet membran er vist, som omfatter et avlangt nett av et material som tillater vann å passere gjennom, men hindrer passasjen av faste stoffer og/eller oppløste stoffer. Nettet har blitt foldet til en sikk-sakk-form for å produsere en stabel av lag (68.1, 68.2 osv) sammenføyd til hverandre med diverse bøyninger (72,74). Et perforert rør (18) er tilveiebrakt, endene av nettet danner stabelen som er sikret til røret. Stabelen er viklet rundt røret og det er fordelere (58, 62) mellom lagene, (68.1, 68.2 osv.) Fordelerne holder lagene fra hverandre for å danne vannstrømningspassasjer (56, 60). Alternerende vannstrømningspassasjer (60) har endene derav ved transverst med bøyningene (72, 74) i lukket forsegling. Disse passasjene er også lukket med reverse bøyninger (74) ved de radielt utvendige endene derav. Langs deres radielt innvendige kanter derav er disse passasjene i kommunikasjon med perforeringene (54) til røret (20).
