Abstract
En fremgangsmåte og et apparat for lav energifordampning av oksideringsmidler, for eksempel hydrogenperoksid og parasettsyre, angår et apparat som omfatter en lagringstank som inneholder et flytende oksideringsmiddel eller løsning, en fordampningsenhet som er operativ tilkoplet lagringstanken for å motta væsken gjennom en strømningsreguleringsventil og fordampe det flytende oksideringsmiddel eller løsning, et kar med et vakuum tilført, idet karet er operativt tilkoplet fordampningsenheten, slik at vakuum også blir tilført der og en trykkføler i karet for å påvise delfordainpningstrykket av oksideringsmiddelet. En mikroprosessor er programmert for å motta et signal fra karets trykkføler og stenge strømningsreguleringsventilen etter at karet har nådd et bestemt trykknivå for å hindre kondensering av oksideringsmiddelet og karet. Gjennom en eller flere tilførsler av fordampet oksideringsmiddel eller løsning, vil karet selv, samt forskjellige artikler anbrakt i karet, for eksempel medisinske og kirurgiske instrumenter, bli sterilisert.
