Abstract

Sammendrag Oppfinnelsen angår en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av maursyreformiater ved at det tilveiebringes en fluidstrøm (I) inneholdende maursyre og en fluidstrøm (II) inneholdende et metallformiat, og fluidstrømmen (I) blandes med fluidstrømmen (II), noe som resulterer i det tilsvarende maursyreformiat. Oppfinnelsen er kjennetegnet ved at en fluidstrøm (III) som inneholder metallformiatkomponenter, metallmetylat, metanol og maursyremetylester (MeFo) i et forhold på > 0,1 masse% føres inn i fluidstrømmen (I) eller forløperen derav, inn i fluidstrømmen (II) eller forløperen derav, eller inn i en blanding som utgjøres av fluidstrømmene (I) og (II). Nevnte fluidstrøm (III) oppnås ved en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av MeFo ved karbonylering av metanol i en reaktor ved et trykk opptil 50 MPa absolutt i nærvær av et metallmetylat som anvendes som homogen katalysator.
