Abstract

La invencion se relaciona a un metodo para producir formiatos del acido que consisten de suministrar una corriente (I) fluida que contiene acido formico y una corriente (II) fluida que contiene formiato metalico y en la mezcla de la corriente (I) fluida y la corriente (II) fluida para obtener formiato de acido formico correspondiente. Tal invencion se caracteriza en que una corriente (III) fluida de la corriente que contiene componentes de formiato metalico, metanolato metalico, metanol y metilester del acido formico (MeFo) en una relacion >0.1% en masa se inserta dentro la corriente (I) fluida o el precursor del mismo, dentro de la corriente (II) fluida o los precursores del mismo o dentro de una mezcla que se forma por las corrientes (I) y (II) fluidas. La corriente (III) fluida se obtiene por un metodo para producir MeFo carbonilando .metanol en un reactor a una presion de hasta 50 MPa absolutos en la presencia de metanolato metalico que se utiliza como un catalizador homogeneo.
