Abstract
Det er tilveiebrakt en dessertkube som innbefatter en konsentrert næringsmiddelsammensetning som inneholder et flertall av dessertbestanddeler, presentert til salgskonsumenten i form av en kube, tablett eller en annen egnet kompakt og i det alt vesentlige rigid form. Næringsmiddelsammensetningen innbefatter typisk sukker, enten grove eller fine varianter, aromastoffer, næringsmiddelfargestoff, en liten mengde vann og eventuelt gelatin, blandet sammen for å fremstille en frittflytende granulær blanding. Den frittflytende granulære blandingen er i det alt vesentlige komprimert i en presse for å danne den i det alt vesentlige faste blokken eller kuben. Den faste blokken eller kuben er adaptert for å bli blandet med og dispergert eller oppløst i melk eller vann av konsumenten ved fremstillingstiden og blandes med en sukkermengde. Den resulterende løsningen utsettes deretter for en forut bestemt kokeprosess (som oppvarming og deretter kjøling) for slik å fremstille et dessertlignende næringsmiddelprodukt, f.eks. et gelatin, en pudding eller en pai.
