Abstract

Det er beskrevet et martensittisk rustfritt stål for sømløse stålrør, som har utmerket avskallingsegenskap og maskinerbarhet, og som har den følgende kjemiske sammensetningen, uttrykt i vekt-%: 0,025 til 0,22% C, 10,5 til 14% Cr, 0,16 til 1,0% Si, 0,05 til 1,0% Mn, 0,05% eller mindre av Al, 0,100% eller mindre av N, 0,25% eller mindre av V, 0,020% eller mindre P, 0,004 til 0,015% S, og for øvrige Fe og forurensninger. Dette stål kan omfatte 0,0002 til 0,0050% B, og/eller 0,0005 til 0,005% Ca. I dette tilfellet kan den øvre grensen for S utvides opp til 0,018%. Fortrinnsvis er Al begrenset til mindre enn 0,01%.
