Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para depositar al menos una pelicula funcional (5) sobre al menos una parte de uno o dos lados de sustratos planos o curvados (2). Para tal fin, los sustratos se transportan individualmente a una estacion de recubrimiento por pelicula y se hacen avanzar en esta a lo largo de su plano o plano medio. La estacion de recubrimiento por pelicula anteriormente mencionada contiene un conjunto (4) aplicador de pelicula que comprende al menos un eje que es perpendicular a la direccion de avance del sustrato y que es paralelo al plano de avance, al menos una bobina de pelicula esta montada al conjunto. El metodo inventivo consiste de: transportar el principio (10) de la pelicula desde cada una de las bobinas, para ser aplicada, y mantenida contra un lado del sustrato en una posicion seleccionada, en la estacion de recubrimiento por pelicula anteriormente mencionada; desenrollar la(s) bobina(s) de modo que la pelicula puede ser aplicada en tira(s) al sustrato de avance; y cortar la(s) pelicula(s) en un momento seleccionado. Ademas, el nuevo principio de pelicula se mantiene de modo que es facil aplicarla en la posicion seleccionada sobre el mismo sustrato o sobre un sustrato siguiente.
