Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un metodo para calibrar una maquina esmeriladora para afilar cuchillas de barra (10) al esmerilar por lo menos dos flancos (5, 6) y una superficie superior (K) de las cuchillas de corte (10), que involucra los siguientes pasos: producir una cuchilla de calibracion (11) al afilar una cuchilla de barra (10) de conformidad con dimensiones predeterminadas; medir las dimensiones de la cuchilla de calibracion (11); y calibrar la maquina con la ayuda de por lo menos el resultado de medicion; para producir una cuchilla de calibracion, la cuchilla de barra (10) es, por lo menos en dos paso, esmerilada sobre los flancos (5, 6) y en la superficie superior (K) en un esmerilado de calibracion completo; el metodo inventivo es conveniente porque la cuchilla de calibracion (11) es esmerilada bajo las mismas condiciones que una cuchilla de produccion para que las influencias relacionadas con el proceso, en particular los desplazamientos asociados con las fuerzas de esmerilado, tambien puedan ser tomadas en consideracion.
