Abstract
Un mecanismo adaptable a la velocidad para optimizar conexiones de transmision/receptor sobre una base de portadora por portadora para una maxima velocidad de datos, basandose en los atributos del canal para esa conexion y direccion. Se produce informacion del canal mediante un proceso de adaptacion de canal basado en las caracteristicas del canal 506, y se almacena tanto en un transmisor 12a como en un receptor 12b, como un mapa de canal en los mapas de canales del transmisor (TX) 346, con un indice de mapas de canales asociado 142 para la consulta del mapa del canal. El indice de mapas de canales 142 para un mapa de canal utilizado para modular una carga util 82 de marco 80 se transmite mediante el transmisor 12a hasta el receptor 12b en el marco 80, de tal manera que el receptor 12b puede seleccionar el mapa de canal correcto para la desmodulacion.
