Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con el uso de los compuestos de piperidina de formula I: en la cual R1 es hidrogeno, hidroxilo, alquilo inferior, alcoxi inferior, acilo u oxígeno R2 es un radical mono- o bicíclico sustituido o no sustituido del tipo aromático, R3 es oxígeno, -NH- o -N(alquil de C1-4)- y R8 independientemente cada que ocurre es hidrogeno o metilo para preparar polipropileno modificado con EPDM, estabilizado luminosamente, el cual se emplea en particular en la construccion automotriz, tal como para parachoques, tiras de cubierta y similares. Un objeto más de la invencion es la combinacion de los compuestos de piperidina mencionados anteriormente con absorbentes de UV conocidos. La invencion también se relaciona con polipropileno modificado con EPDM el cual contiene del 0.05 al 2.5% en peso, de manera preferible del 0.1 al 0.6% en peso, de un radical de un compuesto de la formula I anterior, y con los productos producidos a partir de los mismos.
