Abstract

Un dispositivo de grabacion y reproduccion de vídeo tiene una grabadora de pista de control para grabar una señal de pista de control incluyendo los bordes de sincronizacion grabados en una cinta magnética u otro medio de almacenamiento junto con el programa de vídeo. Un descodificador está acoplado a la señal de pista de control y al impulsor de cinta magnética para cambiar entre un modo de ejecutar hacia adelante, un modo de saltar hacia adelante y un modo de regresar, como una funcion de los codigos de ejecutar, saltar y regresar, insertados dentro de la pista de control como impulsos delanteros con bordes en rampa menos que el mínimo, de tal manera que los impulsos son distintos de los bordes de sincronizacion. Los impulsos codifican digitalmente los mandos ejecutar, saltar y regresar, y también puede codificar el numero de repeticiones de segmentos precedidos por el codigo de ejecutar y seguidos por el codigo de regresar. El dispositivo permite que el usuario edite los codigos de ejecutar, saltar y regresar y un numero de multiples reejecuciones, sobreescribiendo los codigos existentes con los codigos seleccionados por el usuario vía menu en pantalla.
