Abstract

Se describe una solución lacrimal artificial oftálmica para tratar lairritación y la sequedad de los ojos con una formulación que incluyepolivinilpirrolidona, un preservativo como cloruro de benzalconio,glicerina e hidroxipropil metilcelulosa, donde la composición es unasolución acuosa que tienesolución oftálmica de la invención se caracteriza por tener bajaviscosidad, preferiblemente menos de 5 cps, y baja tensión superficial,preferiblemente menos de 40 dinas/cm, donde se mejoran la humectabilidad,retentibilidad y comodidad del usuario.
