Abstract

Un artículo de acabado decorativo brillante, se fabrica por un procedimiento que incluye aplicar un primer material de revestimiento a la superficie exterior de una parte de materia prima y posteriormente aplicar un revestimiento base de substrato dieléctrico por rotación y pintura de rocío, para evitar desprendimiento de tipo cáscara de naranja posteriormente, metalizar con vacío un metal tendiente a corrosión, es decir indio, en el revestimiento base de substrato dieléctrico para formar 'islas' del indio que se atacan químicamente o mordentan siguiendo el crecimiento del metal conforme se deposita después de la etapa de nucleación y la etapa de canalización pero antes de la formación de una película conductora eléctricamente; posteriormente aplicar un material de revestimiento superior resinoso claro, al girar la parte revestida base y rociar el material de capa superior resinoso, para evitar una superficie de desprendimiento tipo cáscara de naranja mientras que llena los canales y cubrir las islas para encapsular y aislar las islas entre sí. Una aplicación preferida de esta invención es la fabricación de partes de acabado decorativo para las industrias automotriz, plomería y de construcción.
