Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para prolongar la vida media biológica de la oxitomodulina, que consiste de la etapa de conjugar la oxintomodulina, un polímero de polietilenglicol (polímero de PEG) y 9- flurenilmetoxicarbonilo (Fmoc) o 2-sulfo-9-fluorenilmetroxicarbonilo (FMS), en donde dicho conjugado de oxintomodulina comprende un compuesto de la fórmla (X)n-Y, en donde dicho conjugado de oxintomodulina es una oxintomodulina pegilada reversible, en donde Y es un agonista dual de receptor de GLP-1/Glucagón que consiste de dicho péptido oxintommodulina, en donde X es un radical en deonde R1 es un radical que contiene una porción de polímero de polietilenglicol (PEG); en donde R2 se selecciona del grupo que consiste de hidrógeno y -SO3H; en donde R3 y R4 son cada uno hidrógeno; en donde A es un enlace covalente cuando el radical está unido a un grupo carboxilo, fosfato o mercapto del fármaco Y, o A es (OCO) cuando el radical está unido a un grupo amino o hidroxilo del fármaco Y; en donde n es un número entero de al menos uno; y donde dicha oxitomodulina, dicho polímero de polietilenglicol (polímero de PEG) y dicho 9-fluorenilmetoxicarbonilo (Fmoc) o 2-sulfo-9-fñipremoñ,etpxocarbpmoñp (FMS) están en una relación molar de 1:1:0.5 a 1:1:3.5.
