Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un antagonista de IAP para usarse en el tratamiento de una infección intracelular persistente causada por el lvirus de hepatitis B (HBV) en un suejto, en donde el antagonista de IAP se selecciona del grupo que consiste en un mimético de Smac bivalente y un mimético de Smac monovalente, y en donde el antagonista de IAP es un antagonista para cIAP1 y cIAP2.
