Abstract

Problema a resolver: Proporcionar un proceso industrialmente preferido para producir un compuesto de isotiazol, particularmente 3,4-dicloro-5-cianoisotiazol. Por ejemplo, proporcionar un proceso de producción industrial más seguro al evitar el uso simultáneo de un disolvente polar aprótico tal como N, N-dimetilformamida y de cloro. Además, proporcionar un proceso de producción que se prefiera económicamente debido a que no se utiliza un disolvente polar aprótico, que sea altamente probable que se convierta en una parte de los residuos. Solución: Un proceso para producir un compuesto de isotiazol representado por una fórmula general (3), en donde R es un grupo ciano o similares y X es un átomo de cloro o similares, caracterizado porque comprende calentar un compuesto de nitrilo representado por una fórmula general (1), en donde R es como se definió anteriormente y azufre y, posteriormente, llevar a cabo una reacción entre el compuesto de nitrilo representado por la fórmula general (1), el azufre y un átomo de halógeno representado por una fórmula general (2), en donde X es como se definió anteriormente.
