Abstract

La presente describe una composición aditiva de fluido de transferencia de calor que comprende: más de o igual a 10% en peso (%/p) de un ácido carboxílico, basado en el peso total de la composición; un compuesto azol; y una base, en donde la base está presente en una cantidad suficiente para obtener un pH de 8-10.5 cuando se diluye con 50% en volumen con agua. La composición aditiva de fluido de transferencia de calor puede ser combinada con otros componentes para formar un fluido de transferencia de calor. El fluido de transferencia de calor puede ser utilizado en un sistema de transferencia de calor.
