Abstract
Se proporcionan monómeros no halogenados que se pueden polimerizar en polímeros retardantes de llama, y procesos para producir los monómeros y polímeros. En un aspecto más simple, se proporciona una composición de monómero que puede comprender a) un grupo derivado de uno de un ácido (met) acrílico, (met)acrilamida o vinilbenceno, b) una porción de polifosfato y c) una especie de amina. En la composición de monómero, el monómero etilénicamente insaturado de (a) se enlaza covalentemente de manera directa o a través de un grupo de enlace a la porción de (b), formando una unidad de monómero precursor. La especie de amina de c) está en complejo con la unidad de monómero de precursor. El polímero puede ser un homopolímero de la composición de monómero, o un copolímero de la composición de monómero que tiene a), b) y c) variantes. En una modalidad, el polímero puede adicionalmente comprender monómeros etilénicamente insaturados no enlazados covalentemente a una porción de polifosfato.
