Abstract
Método de deslignificación de material vegetal, dicho método comprende: proporcionar dicho material vegetal que comprende fibras celulósicas y lignina; exponer dicho material vegetal requerido a una composición que comprende: ácido alcanosulfónico; y un peróxido, en donde dicho ácido alquilsulfónico y peróxido están presentes en una relación molar en el intervalo de 1:1 a 15:1 y el tiempo de exposición es suficiente para eliminar sustancialmente toda la lignina presente en dicho material vegetal. También se describen composiciones capaces de lograr la deslignificación.
