Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de recubrimiento de dos componentes que comprende un primer componente y un segundo componente, cada uno de los cuales está separado y es distinto del otro, en donde el primer componente comprende un polímero funcional de ácido carboxílico disuelto y/o disperso en un medio acuoso, y el segundo componente comprende un compuesto de multiaziridina que tiene a) de 2 a 6 de las siguientes unidades estructurales (A): (ver Fórmula) (A) en la cual m es un número entero de 1 a 6; y R' y R" son ambos H b) una o más cadenas de enlace en las que cada una de estas cadenas de enlace enlaza dos de las unidades estructurales A c) uno o más grupos de conexión en donde cada uno de los grupos de conexión conecta dos de las unidades estructurales A y en los cuales los grupos de conexión consisten en como mínimo una funcionalidad seleccionada entre la funcionalidad de hidrocarburo alifático, la funcionalidad de hidrocarburo cicloalifático, la funcionalidad de hidrocarburo aromático, la funcionalidad de isocianurato, la funcionalidad de iminooxadiazindiona, la funcionalidad de éter, la funcionalidad de éster, la funcionalidad de amida, la funcionalidad de carbonato, la funcionalidad de uretano, la funcionalidad de urea, la funcionalidad de biuret, la funcionalidad de alofanato, la funcionalidad de uretdiona y cualquier combinación de las mismas; y d) un peso molecular que comprende en el rango de 840 Daltons y 5000 Daltons, en donde el peso molecular se mide mediante espectrometría de masas MALDI-TOF.
